the metal coil that heats up the wax gets misplaced from time to time, but with frequent use, this is a non-issue and easily solved by turning it on and off again. not to mention, im moving around a lot as a college student, so that could have also misplaced the coil. would recommend!

The China water inside is totally contaminated and God only knows what’s in there. I did not filter it and I just threw the water down the sewer.. then I put some bottled water in from FL The damn thing didn’t work, so the American water went down the sewer.. make sure when you toss water down the sewer you don’t just pour it all out when the water is hot because you’ll lose all of the special wax inside, so only rinse it out when it’s completely cool and a big lump of wax Now the good part, bought a $300 machine from Amazon that takes out plastic and crap from the tapwater it’s certified and makes really delicious water and has changed my life however I put that water inside the lava lamp just one of them and I couldn’t believe how all the wax comes together into our three huge formations inside and no bunch of grapes or olives just hanging out at the top. The AI helped me discover that every bottle of water that we consume has billions of pieces of nano and micro plastic and even the smaller number after nano which is probably 10 to the -16. So after drinking the plastic-free water for about 30 days, thank you Amazon I have returned to good health. But most importantly2 lava lamps deserve five stars because there’s nothing wrong with the bulb or the quality yeah you have to tighten that little nuttsiedoodle underneath but that’s it I love my lava lamps you just Gotta have brand new water in there with no plastic particles see the plastic floats you can’t see it but it’s in there the wax coalesce and bind with the micro plastics and caused all of the fascinating features of the lava lamp that we used to live as children vanished. We were like who made this lava lamp. Why is it look like a bunch of grapes at the top well it was the plastic in the water. Yes, thank you Amazon and AI for that machine IT Saved me, the waterdrop K19 reverse OS countertop, wonder, It’s the best one it’s makes my cats and everybody here in the house skinny again. Holy Camoli all that plastics coming out. The best part is every day we don’t drink plastic anymore, and the lava lamps lived happily ever after in plastic free water, just like in the garden of Eden. Or like going back in time when your grandmother was pregnant with your mother and inside the safety and security of granny, no plastic LOL

Straight out the box we were already a little disappointed. The metal base and cap are extremely thin and dainty, and there was a noticeable dent on the base. Cap doesn’t secure on top just sits on top, so it tilts easily. Light bulb that came with it was either already bad or the electrical parts had an issue because we could not get it to turn on no matter how careful we put the bulb in. Directions said the light bulb base can dislodge in transit which can cause it to not work, but I think that is a sign of low quality craftsmanship as it is. You’re definitely getting what you pay for with this. Edit: Updating from 1 star to 4 stars. Seller reached out to offer replacement. I had already been in the process of returning the previous one, but was lazy about sending the package back. Reseller sent replacement with no charge or requirement to send the previous one back, so it was a win-win. Replacement product worked has perfectly fine and I’m loving it so far! Still cheap material but it’s doing what’s intended. Not bad at all!

Who needs to chill? This is fantastic for instant relaxation. In my office I can glance at my colorful retro lamp and everything slows down as I watch. Love love love it!

Original: It was beautiful but unfortunately when our daughter plugged it in it the bulb inside exploded! Not the entire thing just the bulb. very disappointing for her as she was excited to see it working. we will be returning. not sure it maybe this type of thing should not be shipped? maybe it was damaged during transport? hopefully the next one works well.

My son loves it. We got it for him for Christmas. The wax melts fully in about 10-15 min the colors are vibrant. It’s a nice size lamp that for nicely on his little dresser. He is younger so I had to remind him to not touch it bc it does get very warm/hot so please do not touch it we do mot keep it on all night. So I can’t speak to that as we usually turn it off after about 2-3 hours. The wax floats nicely and don’t clump at the top I just took poor pictures. Lol

Order a set of two... One is fine The light bulb of the other was broken out of the box 🤷‍♂️ sucks. Update on oct-24-2023 The company reach to me and offer to pay for the buld replacement. And even tho i told them it was probably the delivery compagny s fault they still wanted to cover the buld with the warranty. The way they handle all the matter is worth a mininum of 5 stars!!
