Can the bamboo lid go in the freezer?

Hi! It is not stated in the product itself. I believe it is safe to put it in the freezer, meaning if you do it, nothing will happen to it. But I don’t think this container is designed to go in the freezer. It doesn’t quite seal shut, it is not leak proof. I would choose a different container if you need it to be in the freezer regularly.

The glass is, the bamboo lids are not.

What coats the bamboo lids? Is the glass oven safe? How to maintain bamboo lids?

No coating. They're like a cutting board. You have to hand wash them and let them dry well. The glass is probably tempered (like Pyrex) so oven safe. But I've not tested it.

Nice but I can’t open it

Excellent design of containers, no analogues. But the lid is so tight that I couldn't open any of them. Maybe I got a defective set, which someone had already returned - they were just wrapped in a black garbage bag. I won't order again, I'll choose others.

Lids dont stay on

Lids have no suction and just fall off when shaken a couple times which means if u have food in your bag it’s gunna make a mess.

Glass bowls with bamboo lids

These are great glass rectangle bowls with bamboo lids - they have silicone rims so they seal nicely. I love them. Hold about 2 cups? Wash glass bottoms go in the dishwasher, I hand wash the bamboo lids. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source.
