Ebanel Laboratories Retinol Moisturizer Anti-Aging Cream with Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides, Vitamin E, Shea Butter & Stem Cell Extracts

I am loving this face cream! I had looked up what I, as a 60+ year old woman, should be looking for in a face cream and this cream literally had EVERY ingredient that was dermatologist recommended for mature skin! I was worried that it might be too intense and cause redness or irritation but I have not had a single issue and I have sensitive skin! I really feel like I see a difference in texture and smoothness so I am thrilled with those results! I also love the pump as it distributes just the right amount and reduces waste. Nice consistency and feels good going on. I use it in the morning and at bedtime so feeling moisturized all day and night. And it's a great price too!

Background: I have had cystic acne for most of my adult life so far. All along my jawline and chin. The pain, scaring, and blemishes were very hard to manage and nothing seemed to make a difference. I changed many routines from which soap I used and what cream I put on after. I found a face soap from neutrogena for sensitive skin. My skin type is dry but will easily get greasy with the wrong product. I have used ROC retinol and found that too greasy for my face. Review: this product at first made my skin very red and raw around my cheeks and nose. My skin just felt very sensitive. I read a few reviews that said retinol did that to your skin at first and after a few applications that it goes away. Sure enough, after a week or two my skin stopped getting so red and it was less sensitive to the retinol. My acne started clearing up after 3 weeks. The cystic acne that I had took a while to disappear. However, I usually get scaring from the acne that is dark (I’m Indian and my scars are dark brown), but these resolved without scaring and must faster than they usually would. The pimples I’m getting are very surface that are easily treated with a pimple patch and seem to last only a day or two with minimal remanence that it was ever there. My skin feels soft and healthy. I look like I did in my 20s. My neck is still looking older but my face looks more plump like younger skin does. I highly recommend this retinol. I’m not sure what makes this product work for acne on top of helping you get youthful skin but it does. I’m hoping it keeps working this well and I can update my review after a few months of use.

This is truly making a difference on my face and neck. My friends ask what I’m using that’s clearing up my skin. You must use a moisturizer also. This is fully absorbed and not greasy. I think my skin looks new, fresh and clear.

I bought this Ebanel retinol cream quite a few months ago for the purpose of getting my skin ready for lowest dose retin A for rosacea treatment (vascular type; not acne). I compared many different types of retinol and this particular one seemed to have many nice ingredients that I would like to apply to my face. I used it faithfully for three months in preparation of retin A, and I have to say, I was a bit sad to leave it behind, I liked it so much. Very nice cream and it did wonders for my skin in that it looked healthier and happier. It felt wonderful. Little lines softened and I thought some of them sort of disappeared. I didn't expect that, at my age mid-50s. So, I've been using the lowest dose retin A in Ebanel's place and all is going well because I prepped with this product. I have since bought another bottle of Ebanel to use on my neck and upper chest area since the retin A is supposed to only be used on the face in my case. I thought, why should I not be using my Ebanel on my neck and upper chest all these months? That was not too bright on my part, but now I am happily using it again, but from the chin down. Nice stuff. I use only at night as it does have a bit of a greasy feel to it, which I am okay with because the ingredients are worth it. I really like it. If you have VERY oily skin, it might be too much for you, but if you are moderate to dry, like me, it's a lovely night cream. Update March 2023: Still really like this product. I’ve bought a couple more bottles since first review. I’ve switched to adapalene instead of retin a as derm bills are too high to keep rx going. Fyi- I’m getting better skin strengthening with adapalene. Love Ebanel retinol for neck and upper chest. We are all different of course, but this cream is so nice and does make a positive difference, for me. I do stand by that if you have very oily skin this would likely be too much for you. Small dots rubbed in does the job.

I've never thought I had particularly sensitive skin until this cream. I started small, but within days my skin was on FIRE. If I touched my face, where the finger prints would be would begin to burn again. Gave it two weeks and it didn't subside, but the redness and peeling increased. It does smell wonderful and it's very emollient. I've work Coppertone Sport 50 for YEARS as my moisturizer, so it's not that it needed a sunscreen. It does need a moisturizer on top. For me at least.
