I first started using Simply Pure nail oil around 2016. I sort of fell off of using it, not for any particular reason, just because life got busy and I forgot to use it and then all of a sudden all my nail oil pens went bad (although I’ve read something somewhere that you can still use the oil even after it goes “bad,” which you can tell it has because it will turn nearly clear and the smell will turn stale, although I haven’t found even bad oil to be rotten smelling or anything foul, just not specifically “pleasant.”). I recently started noticing just how dry my cuticles were and how brittle my nails were. I also get very thick calluses on my middle finger because I am a student and that’s where I rest my pencil (I always have and I suspect I always will have this callus) and it was getting particularly dry and scaly. At one point, recently, I actually peeled it off. BIG mistake. Luckily I didn’t take too much healthy skin with it so I wasn’t bleeding but it definitely became very red and raw. I literally had to adjust the way I hold my pencil because just lightly tapping my finger on the wound hurt like a bitch. I finally got the oil in the mail last night and I started doing the “naked” challenge at about 9 pm. It is now 12 pm the following day. Not only is my wound no longer red and irritated, it no longer hurts at ALL, it’s no longer flat and receeded but actually the skin has almost “puffed up” thanks to the reintroduction of moisture, and it feels a thousand times better. It looks like, on one night, it’s been healing over about a week, a week and a half. I’ve always loved how moisturized I feel with this product (my nails look shiny and smooth, I’ve never seen my cuticles look so good in ages, my skin looks so much less dull and flat and looks so much more radiant already), but I never had experienced how beneficial it could be with basic and minor, although painful, skin wounds. Now of course it was going to heal up eventually, but what I definitely didn’t expect was such a drastic improvement with under 24 hours use of this nail oil.

I've tried multiple nail oils but this is by far the best I have found so far. Even just a day of use made my nails look and feel so much nicer! I used to be a nail biter and when growing out my nails out they are soft and prone to peeling. This nail oil has helped me grow out my nails long and strong and is now my go-to.

I've spent the last few months using a jojoba based oil I made myself but wasn't getting quite the results I was looking for. I'd seen Pure Oil many times on other blogs that I follow but didn't decide to take the plunge myself until recently. I received my starter kit last Friday, well ahead of the first estimated deliver date, and started right away. My 3 day challenge ended about noon today but I forgot to take the after pic before I put on polish. I can say, however, that I am a customer for life. I had intended on ordering the fragrance free but apparently failed to make that choice when I placed the order. No worries there, either. The Crisp scent is wonderful and doesn't irritate the scent-sensitive people in my life, which includes me. If you've got problem nails and nothing else has worked, give this oil a try. Seriously. My results after only 3 days makes the cost so worth it.
