Kids loved building these! Very cute!!

A lot easier to put together than I thought it would be. I'd keep an X-acto knife around to trim off any extra bits as not all the pieces punched out cleanly, but that's minor. Also the battery pack is VERY tight so you really have to squeeze the batteries to fit them in there. It does loosen up a little bit over time, though. And the instructions don't tell you there's a clear cap inside the glue so... don't squeeze it trying to get it to come out until you remove that or you'll end up with glue all over your hand like I did. My son's already built 2 of the projects so far and he's actually asking me to get him more for his birthday.

My 10 year old enjoyed putting these together. Unfortunately, some pieces broke easily and others were difficult to put in place. Still a great product for the price.

My kiddo loves these STEM projects. We have purchased multiple from this brand and have been very pleased with quality and sale price. He loves all the different challenges, skills and movement of them all.

I thought this would be a good follow up kit to the vehicle one that my 6 year old loved and put together on his own. Unfortunately, despite how nice and interesting this kit was, it had some serious flaws to it. This particular kit needed a great deal supervision. The biggest danger we found was that the leads had open contacts, and no instructions not to allow the leads to cross which will heat up to the power that they glow and burn out - and in one case, branded my husband's finger (not a serious injury but could really hurt a child). Of the 4 LED's we got with the kit for the 2 units that needed them, 3 of them were DOA's which tells me that there's a high rates of failures of these. The open contacts to the power supply was my biggest issue; this thing is made of balsa wood and I don't need things to catch fire while we're not looking. It's still a fun kit but we had to help him on a lot of it whereas we didn't with the vehicles and handle the wirings for him since we didn't want him to get hurt.

I will be buying more of these. It's something to do with your kid that's not stressing and when finished the feeling of seeing your kids face light up because they built it is priceless!!
