Does this soap sud and foam? I need an almost lotion-like soap that will not be harsh on my skin barrier.

It suds a little but as a person who also needs a gentle but good body soap I love this product. My skin is clean but not dry or irritated by this product at all. I have tried a lot of soaps and since funding thus product I will never buy anything else. It doesn't even irritate those easily irritated areas.

Does the 32oz version come with the pump?

It does comes with the pump but mine came broken, couldn’t use it, bought another empty bottle and pour in it to use

The product listed doesn't mention the latest change that Alba has made to the gel, which was adding coconut oil. Will these have the new formula?

Yes it is the new formula. The last one I ordered had a label stamped on the front of the bottle stating it was the improved formula with coconut oil. The scent seems different from the original formula.
