is there a pan this size that can goe on the stovetop? I would like to make gravy or sauce after cooking a chicken or roast. Thank you.

Cake pans are used for cakes and cookies, in the oven, not a stove top appliance.You may use a 2" deep cake pan as a cat litter box for your kitten...you'll never bake any cake in that one!!To make gravy from roasted meat or fowl (any poultry...chicken, hen, rooster, anything that used to have feathers), the brown gravy one (scrap your pan well), you put the drippings in a skillet suitable for a stovetop, you may add an onion and some veggies, thicken it with some water with cornstarch or flour, then filter it in a small stainless steel mesh strainer to get your sauce smooth...I add a TBSP of fresh butter and a TBSP of good red wine.
