I purchased the Black & Decker 40W Box Desk Fan with high hopes, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. While it does a decent job of circulating air, the operation is much noisier than I anticipated. The fan produces a persistent hum that can be quite distracting, especially in a quiet space. I was hoping for a more peaceful cooling experience, but instead, the noise level makes it hard to concentrate. On the plus side, it's compact and fits well on a desk, but the noise is a significant drawback. If you’re looking for a fan that operates quietly, this one might not be the best choice.
