Westcott Wooden Yardstick Ruler with Metal Edges, (14351)

This is the old-style yardstick with the thick wood and the metal hole covers that I wanted. I give it 4 stars because it is in inches on both sides rather than metric on one and inches on the other. The packaging was 'profound'. Sent in tubing that is used for expensive art pieces and almost twice as long as the yardstick. With metal inserts where it took a few minutes to tap the sides with a nail and hammer and then work a screwdriver down into the space and twist to get this open. Well it did arrive intact!

This is the best whitener I have used outside of a dentists office. Much whiter teeth after 5 days.

The only thing wrong with mine it said metal edge and there was no metal on it or hanging holes. Thickness was good, but I think over priced for a wooden yardstick.

Well made yardstick. Bought for my FIL who is a master wood master and he loved it.

Great material

My child broke a yard stick at school and we couldn't find one anywhere locally to replace it. It was awesome that we found it here and it was delivered quickly. The teacher was happy with the replacement. Seemed like it was solid quality although the packaging seemed crazy big for something so small. :)

This yardstick is about 1/4" thick, and marked on both sides with grommets on both ends for hanging. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it has not been varnished, which I will take care of. Otherwise, it's fine.

Somewhere along the line I had misplaced my yardstick and needed one to measure out a chenille quilting project for a baby quilt. This one fits the bill and will be useful for many projects in the future. It is good and easy to read the measurements. The packaging was very sturdy and kept it safe in shipping. The ruler arrived earlier than the projected arrival date. A good, useful item.

Old fashioned maybe but it does the job! I used if for measuring wallpaper and it was exactly what I needed. Very good price too.

Just what was wanted. It's ironic that a 'yardstick' has to be obtained from the U.S. of A. as, presumably, the U.K. is bowing down to the metric merchants!
