Good tent for price
Total weight as sold is 4.45lbs. I bought this for backpacking trip and was overall happy with product. Be sure to set up the entire tent before heading out because the instructions are terrible. Youโll want to tie on guide ropes to rain fly and see how included footprint attaches to the rain fly (it buckles at each corner). Not big enough for 2 people, but it is big enough to sit up in, 1 person and all your gear. Positives: good bug netting, easy side entry/exit, opposite side zipper to store stuff under small vestibule, quality tent stakes(11), ties for tent poles on underside of rain fly to reinforce attachment for high winds, rainproof, small ceiling hammock for easy accessible items, reinforced tent floor

Overall, pleasantly surprised
I had my doubts about this tent but after a few trips including 2 nights in the rain, feeling pretty good about this purchase. One night of 15-20mph winds and 3.5hrs of steady heavy rain and I stayed warm and dry in my 1P Yosemite. Where I noticed water on the outside of the floor in the morning, there was no moisture inside. I had to tuck the corners of the footprint under as they stuck out a bit and collected water, but an easy enough fix. There was a some splash back at the head and foot but no water got in (the ground was pretty hard packed so not absorbing the water.). Held up to the wind well, only using the four fly stake out points. Easy to set up rainfly 1st. Stakes light but solid, and haven't needed the stake press... I just used my foot when necessary Rear vestibule very helpful for storage although plenty of pockets inside. Able to sit up. Doesn't feel claustrophobic. There's some construction issues (the velcro doesn't like up perfectly, bad stitching on one corner pocket) but everything still functioned properly. Eventually I'll probably upgrade to something lighter but this will work just fine in the meantime.

not bad for the $$
so got my 1P tent delivered. did a dry run to set up and super easy. i'm 6'5 and i fit so a plus. took all contents and weighed them; measured about 4.4 lbs. took all tent components and weighed w/o the bags and it dropped to about 4.2 lbs. i added a pic of the clips that attach the tent to the poles. i've had tents with this style of clip before and they break very easy. i have a couple other backpacking tents that are 2P (different brands), wanted a 1P. the pic shows the hooks/clips on my 'passage 2' tent compared to H&B. the hooks are very durable. sometimes when setting up if you go down on one knee and you end up on the tent you can crush the type of clip on the hyke & byke very easy (i've done it). was hoping it'd be below 4 lbs so on the fence about keeping it. also the clips worry me but if i do keep it i just need to be mindful of the clips. zippers are quiet, like the small zippered door on opposite side of tent to access backpack when in tent. for the $$ i guess you can't beat it. will find out soon.

Don't let the low price fool you.
I had an epic 9 day, 8 night adventure, backpacking through Yellowstone with a group of friends. I researched tents for 3 weeks, and knew what stats I was looking for, and hoping to be frugal with my purchase. I kept coming back to the Yosemite 1P. Everything looked perfect. I was caught off guard by the super affordable price tag (I backpack with Z Packs Duplex users $$$). That being said, after 3 weeks of comparison and debating, and major contemplating (and minor hesitation)I purchased the Yosemite 1P for my adventure, and was not a bit disappointed. I'm also quite tall. 5'10". Sitting up in the tent was my number one goal. This tent couldn't have been more perfect for me. Comfort in my purchase, was the email I received after my purchase, describing the formation of the company. I backpack with engineers as well. One in particular, is always coming up with more affordable alternatives, because he understands budget constraints as well. The tent and the company's backstory are both great.
