do these provide enough tension/resistance for someone 5'2? (if the strap is too long it's useless for me) thx

You're question is confusing. These ankle straps don't provide the resistance. And you're height isn't a factor. The strap goes under your foot. The Velcro part goes around your ankle. There is no adjustment in the strap that goes under the foot. You just slide the ankle/Velcro strap up your leg till the strap under the foot is tight, no slack in it. The resistance comes from the cable you attach to the metal loops. You can put as much or as little weight on the cables you use. And yes, a 5'2' person can use these with no problems. I'm only 2" taller than you. I love them! They give me a great workout.
