Product works really well
I have been looking for toe nail clippers in stores for almost a year now and could not find any that could cut my toenails because they were so thick i could not find one that opened wide enough i had to go to the V A hospital to have them cut now i do not have to go just for that i can cut them myself now and what a relief it is to cut them not onlyclose but easy also.

Beneficial lever with no sideways play.
I purchased these for a parent that has some coordination/dexterity issues. Nail clippers with a lever that twists were a challenge. The Mr. Green nail clippers flip, instead of twist and eliminate sideways play in the lever, making it easier to use.I understand what the magnet is intended to do, position the spring action, but in actual use, it doesn't always work at intended.

(Updated(**) Best Clippers ever owned...
... SO FAR. (***) + (**)Very clean & even cutting edges, perfectly aligned. The little piece that performs the springs action seems *a bit* flimsy & loose but in the past +/- 25 uses both fingernail & toenail clippers work better than ANY "conventional" clippers that I have used.I'd happily recommend to others needing a good set of manicure/ pedicure (from a man's perspective) tools for their grooming.(***) The Manufacturer; "Mr. Green", I kinda feel that IF the packaging were A LOT less metal & that dammed black foam used on pkging., THAT product name MAY fit better, I've always had a few small leather/chamois sheets, about 6" × 8", that I wrapped my metal grooming tools in to prevent rust or corrosion so all of the packaging is *IMO*, unnecessary. Just maybe ship them in good paper and a cardboard box. "Be More Green!"(**) Update: THESE JUST slashed off tips of a couple of my fingers! There are good/ bad, pos./ neg. aspects to having such sharp clippers. They leave a sharp edge needing a file down after using this set of Mr. Green finger & toe nail clippers! Please, PLEASE DO NOT leave a youngster/ child alone to handle or "play" with them! They CAN cut without much effort or pressure!Otherwise, have a good nail file handy to smooth off the sharp edges after you trim your nails... ladies AND gents!Good Luck, Be Safe!

Wow, are these great!
I have only one working arm/hand and my good hand has carpal tunnel, so I was finding it impossible to trim my nails. This set of toe and finger trimmers is really incredible. They re incredibly sharp, so be careful not to catch skin in them. They cut pretty much straight across, instead of giving a rounded cut, To trim the nails on my good hand, I can hold it in my mouth, carefully insert my nail and then press down with my teeth. I wasn't able to do that with my old pair. I do need to file sharp edges afterwards, but if you re two handed, that probably wouldn't be a problem.
