Outward Hound Durablez Tough Plush Squeaky Dog Toy, Nubby Snake, Blue, XL

This snake/worm/whatever it is (with six squeakers!) has outlasted any toy I’ve ever purchased! Previous toys, even those that said they were indestructible, were no match for our 75-pound Lab/Great Pyrenees mix — within 15 minutes he had destroyed them all. But not this one! It took 3 weeks and 1 day for him to remove all the squeakers, making this the longest lasting toy he’s ever had. Just ordered another one of the same type, and I’ll keep buying it every month or so! Absolutely worth it to not have stuffing all over the floor while still giving him weeks of entertainment.

I gotta say the material is great and the toy felt high quality. I have a 74 pound goldendoodle that makes it a personal mission to surgically destroy any toy that is in any way soft. The double stitching stopped him for all of fifteen minutes until he popped a seam. After that, that was all she wrote. He tore through the entire outer stitching and puncture proof material by 30 minutes.Overall though I appreciated the fact there was no stuffing and the squeakers remained intact. He certainly had an hour of fun with it. If you have a dog that is less apt to tear toys apart, I could see this lasting a while. If you have an aggressive chewing dog, it doesn't last long.

This snake is so great that I am ordering a smaller one for our camper. My dog is an aggressive and talented chewer—there are not a lot of squeaky toys that evade his destruction, but this one has! I ordered the large one, which is quite long, and it’s great! He loves it and chews til his jaws are satisfied but hasn’t made a dent in it yet! I’m pretty sure there are multiple options of animals, colors, and lengths, so I am ordering another now to use in a different space. Thank you for a great product!!!!

My dog gets exceptionally excited about how the different sections squeak different. It’s sturdier than I thought it would be.

The media could not be loaded.  Anyone who knows hounds knows they can be kind of finicky about what toys they like. If my dog can't destroy a toy he's uninterested but most plushie toys are gone in a day, leave fluff all over the house and create a choking hazard with the disemboweled squeakers. These snakes balance those factors perfectly. My hound has a collection of snakes and they tend to last a few months each through lots of tug, death shakes and play. Each one has 6 squeakers so even if your dog starts to take it apart they can keep playing with it for awhile since it will still have some squeakers left to keep their interest. Most of the ones we have now have about half the squeakers but it allows them to stay fun in their disemboweled state. There's no fluff and the squeakers are huge thick plastic so the choking risk is lessoned. I haven't yet found a toy that holds my dog's interest better and is more fun for us to play with together. Don't expect perfect durability here but this toy is excellent for still being fun for a long time as it gets worn and being safe for play even as it is progressively destroyed.

Our dogs liked this toy so much we've now bought three of them. They are good for aggressive chewers and the squeakers last a really long time. We've bought dozens, maybe hundreds of dog toys over the decades and this one is probably the best. They are a good value and we will buy again.

Plush, squeaky toys are our dog's favorite type of toy. She very much enjoys chewing and squeaking, but she can rip apart a toy in a few minutes. While not entirely chew-proof, this toy is well-made and safe for her to play with. I highly recommend this toy for dogs who are rough on their toys.

I love this dog toy, it’s pretty good sized and the squeakers are very large.

I suspect these are counterfeit as I've bought many Outward Hound Invincible's during the last 14 years for my terrier as they're the only toys she can't rip to shreds within minutes, and the squeaky parts last many months, she still has 2 squeaks left in the large snake she had for Christmas 2020.However, within minutes all 3 squeaks had been broken which was a huge disappointment as I suspect that this Christmas will be the last for my darling little dog and it's not a cheap toy either.I will continue to buy the make but not from this seller, I'll use my usual pet store as they would have refunded me without question.

Great toy, completely ignored by my dog though as it is far too small to give us a good play. He’s had others that have been 3ft long and given a great game of tug and squeak and chase with my dragging it along the ground. I Dare say it states some where the length of the toy but I didn’t look properly instead taking the ad at it’s word when it says large and is for large dogs then based on previous purchases elsewhere, I fully expected it to be large but it’s only a foot long. Very disappointed. It is very well made and would be tough, I imagine but it’s just too short.

My big idiot is a massive chewer and despite having it since Christmas day, it's still going! He's ripped alot of the fluff off but the toy itself is intact with its squeaker. He's done his damndest to wear out those squeaker but they are resilient! His new favourite toy. Keeps running round the house with it. Ì know it won't last more than a month or two but definitely worth the money for my boys happiness and still lasting longer then some of the more expensive toys he's Had! Will be buying again.

The media could not be loaded.  We have had this for a year and it is almost as good as new - even the eyes have not come off. It is mauled on a daily basis between a Rottweiler and a Pug. They are very hard on their toys - nothing has lasted. I do have another of these - the shorter one which goes with them to kennels. Either of them will run off with it and get chased or if the Rott doesn't want to play the Pug will drag it under his nose till he does. Most important for us is it has no stuffing - so even if they do break it open there is little to eat as our Rott will eat it and then make himself very sick. Although I say on the video 8 months - I've realised I bought this in January 2016 - so it is a year old in the video. I am just about to purchase another of the shorter ones.

Bought this for my dog 🐕 he had only been playing with it about 30mins and he had chewed a big hole in the sides he is only a Daschund so thought it would last longer than 3 days had to take it of him because of all the stitching coming away and fluff coming off
