I bought this Ninja Food Chopper Express Chop for my wife after the cheap “Temu special” chopper we had finally gave up on us. I came across this little gem and it has been a huge upgrade. It’s compact, easy to use, and does a great job chopping onions, vegetables, herbs, and even grinding ingredients for meal prep. The 200-watt motor has plenty of power for everyday kitchen tasks, and the 16-ounce bowl is the perfect size for most jobs. My wife absolutely loves it and uses it regularly. Cleanup is quick, and it feels much more durable and well-made than the bargain chopper it replaced. Best of all, it’s not overly expensive for the quality and performance you get. If you’re looking for a reliable food chopper without spending a fortune, this Ninja is an excellent choice.

Ninja products for preparing and cooking too are some of the best appliances you can get and worth the prices. I had bought one of these many years ago, but lost it after the move to our new place. This machine allows you to chop vegetables and other foods at your own pulse power. Longer pulse, meaning if you press and hold the top longer, will achieve smaller chopping. It is powerful, very easy to use, and easy to clean with caution. All blades are sharp and this is no exception, when it comes to rinsing the blade or cleaning, but this small chopper wonderfully does the chopping and gets rinsed smoothly. The bottom rubber base is very good in keeping it in place, and blades chop in seconds. People often think smaller choppers are not worth the money, but this one gives you a very good amount chopped and done for meal making and more (See the size next to the 2-cup measuring glass) Cut harder and longer vegetables, like carrots before putting in the chopper. Remember this one is a small chopper and you can fit the right amount in the container if you cut the vegetables a little. Don't forget to put the lid on before putting the motor top and start chopping. We are very happy with this chopper.

Excellent food chopper much easier and faster than another brans

works rly well to make ice cream i like it a lot. It’s fairly small and light so it doesn’t take up alot of space but is still very useful although it is quite loud

After years of using the Pampered Chef hand food chopper and going through several of them because the plastic always cracks and breaks, I decided to try the Ninja Food Chopper Express Chop. My husband and I have been using this for almost a month now and we are very pleased with it. I have a food processor for the big jobs but I don’t use it much - too much trouble to get it out and to clean it. This chopper is a breeze to use. Only wish I would have bought one about three hand choppers ago. What I like: So easy to use Safety feature - Blade won’t work until you put on the top (power pod) so there’s no chance of cutting yourself while adding food to the chopper. The lid that goes on the bowl keeps food particles out of the mechanism. I also use the lid on the bowl to store extra chopped food until I need more. The chopper is a breeze for easy cleanup. I just put the bowl, lid and blade in the dishwasher - cleanup is done! Takes just a few taps on the pulsing button to complete the task of chopping nuts, onions, celery, carrots, etc. I haven’t processed any herbs yet - will have to wait until this summer to try that. Noise level is minimum since it chops so quickly. Usually 3-4 taps on the pulser completes the job. Much less effort than using a handheld chopper! Cons The cord moves with the chopper when tapping the pulsing button. Not sure if I’m just doing something wrong but it twists to the left as I’m working. I would highly recommend the Ninja Food Chopper Express Chop. Great product for a great price!

I received this Ninja Chopper as a gift about 10 years ago and I've always loved the way it chops things up for me. Although it still chopped well, the rubber around the bottom was lose and kept falling off from so many uses. Since I liked it so much, I recently purchased a new one. I like the fact that it fits nicely in the corner of my counter. It's not overly noisy and blends, chops and puree's my food the way I like it. Truly a good investment.

USE IT FOR THE INTENDED PURPOSE and you will love it. I chop onions and other vegetables practically every day. This is where this little machine excels. Takes very little space. If you are comparing it to a large food processor which chops and mixes large volumes of hard stuff like nuts, then you are making an unfair comparison. People who buy the wrong things for the wrong purpose and leave a negative review, do a great disservice to potential buyers. I have noticed this with many other products, a few negative reviewers made me think twice, cost me weeks of additional research, only to find that some people used a sandal for rock climbing or not knowing the difference between a slow juicer and a blender; there are numerous examples, but I do not want to digress further. The process I am describing will work with most vegetables, but take onion for instance. In the past, I often cut it buy hand, because the process of cutting it into smaller pieces, scraping it out, then washing it took longer than cutting it by hand, even though the onion makes most of us "cry". Not so with this machine. I only cut the onion into a few small pieces - five seconds. Because of the four blades, it chops the onion very fast (three to four pulses, i.e. 3-4 seconds) and evenly. The top section and the inner cover comes off instantly, even though it is very well secured while running. Pull out the blade unit (very easy, hold it by the top so you do not run the danger of cutting your hand) and run it under the tap, 4-5 seconds; getting the onion out directly into the pot is again very easy, because of the wide tubular design. No nooks and crannies that would slow you down. I never put it into the sink (to wash later), since washing it out - completely - takes less than five seconds. Voila! You are done. Your onion is perfectly cut in the size you want it (depending on how many times you press the pulse button, which is very responsive) and the three unit parts that I washed/rinsed in seconds are drying in the drying tray next to the sink. Putting it back is ridiculously fast. If I prepare a huge amount of many different vegetables or nuts, then I use the food processor, which takes a lot longer to wash out. But for every day cooking in a hurry, THIS UNIT IS FANTASTIC.

Excellent food chopper that works well for chopping vegetables and vegetables like onions. It is easy to use and clean, with a compact size that makes it perfect for smaller jobs. I find it gives back very good value for money.

What a brilliant little kitchen gadget this is!!! I already had a serious food processor but this comes in so handy for smaller jobs, herbs, spices, small vegetables, even icing sugar that you just want to do quickly with no fuss. So easy to use and with a spare container if you are doing two separate things. Usual brilliant Ninja design!!!

We bought this because we were looking for a small kitchen gadget to help do prep work like chopping or mincing. Wow! This Ninja Express Chop literally takes the tears out of finely minced onions. It is so efficient and quick that the first onion we minced turned into a puree. A second try later we pressed the button on/off to pulse chop and in about 10 seconds we had very finely minced one large sweet onion. Our burgers came out juicer than ever and owe it to this chopper. Yes, it even chopped crackers into crumbs in no time at all. Clean up was a breeze as the blade and cup are easy to rinse off. Given the cup itself is essentially plastic, not sure chopping something like raw carrots would stain the cup over time as we experienced that with our older full size processor. We just wish we had gotten this sooner.
