The candles themselves look and perform exactly as they’re supposed to, but burning these with the windows shut in my small (6’ x 10’) temple room, the wax gives off a very acrid, fuel-like smell (guessing it’s some combo of paraffin and whatever is in the wick). To avoid this issue, I would recommend trimming the wick very close and burning only in a well ventilated space. Otherwise these are perfectly serviceable candles that get the job done.

i bought these candles to burn because my grandfather just passed away. i received my package today and the box was fine but all of the candles inside are smashed and broken. i would never order these again.

These candles outlast the others I bought. These are the best for keeping around in case of an emergency power outage. I would strongly suggest capping them with aluminum foil... the candles my parents and grandparents bought had those caps on them for a reason. If they had those foil seals and the glass was made of pyrex I'd give them 6 stars, but as far as hurricane candles go, they are pretty much good.

One candle was shattered glass upon opening box, cut my finger. Ok candles but not 7 day, more like 3-1/2 days 24 hours.

great seven day candles. Glad I know where to buy them now. They work well. I will tell everyone where to buy.
