This should only be sold as a two pack. Using only one created a dangerous situation. I think it is a good product but my 3 year old grandson pulled on the hollow core door of a two year old home and pulled off of two hinges. The door stop acted as a fulcrum. If one was at bottom and one at top it would have been prevented. Fortunately no one was injured.

I usually do not write reviews, but I just received this wedge today and there are no instructions. So I came back to the Amazon website to see if I could get a clue as to how to install it. - nothing - I read through the reviews and those who had success only said it took them a few minutes to figure it out and then it was “golden” - so to speak. But they offered no helpful advice. Others only complained and said it was useless.So here’s the deal: this wedge is longer on one side . . . that side buts up against the door and the short side buts up against the door jamb.You have to kind of wiggle it into place, but once you do that it does hold the door open very well. It seems to be sturdy enough - at least to keep my 2 yr old grandson from constantly closing the door to his playroom!So, there ya go! I hope this helps!

So my baby is now three and always on doors right! Well that’s the reason I got this so that my daughter didn’t smash her finger right! Wrong she smashed them now I’m not saying it’s all bad it helped a little. It is easy to install but the quality is not the best and it doesn’t fit two of my doors that was weird. Anyways if your trying to find something to keep your kids from getting hurt I wouldn’t recommend because I would have needed to get three of them for it to hold the door to totally secure and even then they kept falling out so I wouldn’t recommend.

I use these at work to keep doors open while I’m cleaning. It’s nice to not have to bend over for those traditional triangle door stops that go under the door especially when your floors are not even or you are trying the clean the floor and the door stop is actually in he way. These sit nicely in the gap between the door and the frame. Easy to insert and remove.

I love the ocean breeze. The block allows me to hold open the balcony door open at the resort.

These stopped the door from closing all the way but they didn’t hold it open where I wanted. Maybe that’s not the intended use, but for me they didn’t help
