Shop Succulents Parlor Palm Chamaedorea 6" Pot

OMG, I was so impressed on the packaging of this plant, the quality surpassed my expectations, along with a moist plant, and leaves green and healthy. I will definitely order more plants from this merchant because it shows they take special care in sending quality plants along with exceptional packaging.

The two 6" potted palms I received looked better than the palms available in my local stores, but at a slighty greater cost due to the shipping costs. Like other reviews the plants arrived timely (about 4 days, but would have been 3 if not for a Sunday) and despite the beating taken by the shipping box were in excellent condition. Both were healthy looking, rich green, and planted in moist nutritious looking soil. However, the two plants I received did not appear as thick and tall as the primary website picture. Both were about 12" high from the soil to the tops of the fronds and about 10" to 12" wide at the tops of the fronds. The 6" pot is about 4 1/2" high, so the overall height is 16 1/2". There were about 12 shoots growing from the soil for each plant. However, the shoots of my plants are in a compact arrangement as opposed to the more loosely arranged plant in the primary website picture. Not sure if the tightly packed arrangement will hinder growth. One reviewer claimed a 21" high 4" pot plant. Must have been lucky or bought at the right time of the season. My plants look more like the customer provided picture of the palm in a terra cotta pot. Thanks to another reviewer I opened the package by my trash bin, since the popcorn Styrofoam is pretty messy along with the soil that spilled from the pots. I've had another palm for several years and with regular watering, miracle grow feeding and proper environment, it has grown from a 6" high 4" potted palm to an almost three foot palm replanted in an 8" pot. Probably would have been more cost effective to buy a 4" potted palm and watched it grow.

The listing shows a lovely full plant in a 6" pot. What I received was a diminutive plant that looked like it had been pulled from a 2" pot and put into a 4" pot and shipped. When I contacted the seller and requested a refund because a 4" plant cost less than a 6" plant, they were very nice and apologized and said that they would send a new plant. Well they did send another plant. I received another 4" pot with an even smaller plant. So now I have two very cute little plants that will grow eventually, I hope. The first one is actually looking a little like it may have grown a bit since I first received it. The second plant arrived almost downing and dripping wet so I'm hopeful that it will survive it's shipping trauma. ANYWAY, if you are looking for the plant as pictured, there's a good chance that you won't get it. It may depend on the growing season as to what you get, but if that's the case, don't advertise that you have the larger plants!

I have had horrible experiences with this seller. I tried to purchase a Drosera Capensis "Sundew" plant twice. Both times it was late by a few WEEKS and both times it was the wrong plant! They kept sending me a Drosera Spatulata. This time I tried to purchase the parlor palm in a 6 inch pot. It actually arrived within the time frame that it was promised, and it actually was the correct plant. However the plant does not match the description or advertisement. They sent me a 2 inch plant in a 6 inch pot which I paid extra for because I wanted and expected a full bushy plant. Even if what I received was half the size as the plant pictured I would have been ok with, but this is far smaller than even a quarter of the pictured size. I messaged the seller hoping we could work something out, they asked to see a photo so I sent what I have pictured and their response verbatim was "We would like to inform you that we are selling live plants and their actual sizes and shape are not exactly the same as pictured." These people really don't know what they are doing. Anyway the only reason they are receiving 2 stars instead of 1 is because I haven't lost a whole lot from these purchases, every time I have bought something from this seller, I have had valid reasons for getting a full refund issued back every time. And for a change, this product was on time and the correct plant at least. But an inaccurate description of the plants they are selling is not ok either.

Came very well packed, well watered and healthy. It's been two weeks and it still looks really good and is branching out and making new leaves. Would highly recommend.

Very happy with my purchase. The parlor palm arrived in perfect condition. We'll definitely be ordering again from this seller. Great value for the price and easy to care for as well as a great gift.
