I tried all different liquids, vinegar, soap mixes woth these things and I caught 5 fruit fly. Then after that I got the big sheets of fly paper and I caught hundreds within a few days.

I thought it came with the liquid was surprised it did not but the product is thick

These Fruit Fly Traps are very good and come with the recipe and instructions. I have had others, and these are the best.

I set 4 of these up (using the recommended bait) alongside a few yellow sticky traps, hoping to cut back on the fungus gnat infestation that came with some new potting soil. After 2 days, the sticky traps had caught 78 gnats, and these had caught 0. I left them out for another week and checked again: still 0. I then transferred the bait into a regular glass and it caught several gnats within 24 hours, so I think the issue is that the bugs just don't see or smell the bait in these things. Stick with the sticky traps!

its just a plastic container with holes. No bait you have to make your own. Just use a cup with saran wrap apple cider vinegar, soap water and sugar. You have to make this mixture gor the plastic fruit fly traps anyway

I thought it was stupid when received but this is great. No more hanging fly strips that get stuck in your hair . Icky. The dogs use a pad in daytime so the flies are around. Thank You.

Waste of money. Go to your local Dollar Tree and find something better for a fraction of the price. Not to mention that these are TINY empty shells. You have to purchase and create your own solution to go inside.
