My daughter is 20 months and loves playing with them. There are a lot of animals to choose from and look at. The magnets are made out of cardboard. They are sturdy at first. But, my daughter started putting them in her mouth causing some to become soaked and break apart. I managed to save a few and will glue the animal drawing back to the cardboard later. Overall, I think they are a great purchase! Keeps my daughter entertained for a while by putting animals on our fridge and looking at them. The graphics are pretty good. And because it is for a kids, I don't expect them to last forever as kids tend to really put things to the test ... so I didn't want anything too expensive that I will be upset over if they lost. This is a great purchase. Good quality and quantity for the price and it doesn't really matter if kids break them or lose them because they didn't cost so much. Highly recommend!

I have both this set of animal magnets and the Melissa and Doug set. To compare and contrast the two in case anyone is deciding between these two sets: This set has 3 times the animals for roughly twice the cost. It has some animals I’ve never even seen or heard of, which is awesome! But it’s missing some basics like a dog or a chicken or a pig. The Melissa and Doug set is very durable. This set is not. I’m always afraid that I will break a tail or a leg or something, and I’m an adult. My daughter isn’t allowed to play with them. (They’re for my teaching.) So if these are for a child, be VERY careful! These break MUCH easier than the Melissa and Doug animals! I love both sets, so I just can’t choose my favorite, but if they were for a young child, I’d definitely go with the Melissa and Doug, even though there are fewer animals.

I really loved these when we got them. Still do but I was disappointed at how easy they bend. They have a great variety of animals. Great colors they just bend very easily so they have to be for a child that will not handle them alot. Overall we still love them.

I was excited for these because the pictures are pretty realistic, but they’re so hard for a toddler to grab. My 16 month old had a lot of trouble taking them off the fridge and the picture sticker was coming off. Our 2 year old friend couldn’t take them off either. I wanted to keep them for when he gets older but they’re not the best quality. I also had a hard time taking them off to return, the magnets are too strong. I’m going to try the wooden ones
