I originally purchased one shelving unit for my sports memorabilia and after putting it together and setting it up I was very excited and happy about my purchase I decided to order another. After the second one came, setting that one up, I was really impressed so I decided to buy one more especially for such a great price and how nice they came out and looked..Setting it up was very easy and the instructions were very clear for the most part, common sense helped a little as well. Everything was labeled well, every board piece, all the individual hardware bags. So it was easy to understand. My only issue was the wall anchors and setup.. it wasn't explained well in the instructions and for some reason my brain couldn't comprehend how it was supposed to be set up and function. I ended up purchasing some separate wall anchors for a reasonable price and that was that.All in all, I was completely happy and satisfied with this purchase, so much so I purchased 3 separate times lol, I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is in the market for shelving units.Here's a little side tip,,, they give you a little Allen/hex wrench to use but after putting together the first shelf with the little wrench I smartened up and grabbed my hand drill and it was a breeze.. just don't torque too much..

After months of searching, I finally decided to buy two sets of these shelving units. They are a reasonable price for what you get, and is sturdy enough for my books and figurines. I really like how this bookcase has alternating openings so that it creates a little shelf on each level. I put these together myself—directions are very easy to follow and all the parts came in perfect condition. Know that the tool you will use for this is an Allen wrench (was included)—my hand was definitely sore after putting two together, but it was not that bad.This bookshelf is probably not great for heavier books like textbooks. The set does come with mounting hardware to secure to the wall, which I would recommend if you have heavy items on top or small children who may try to climb the shelving.I’m overall very happy with my purchase. If anything changed (like bowing of the shelves over time) I will update this review.

I love this bookcase, now that it is up, secured to the wall and filled up! Putting it together was a b***h! I had everything laid out on the floor, with like pieces together. Including all the screws. I looked at the direction sheet and it looked pretty straight-forward. Well, for me it turned out to be so confusing! The very first step I couldn't get the picture in a position that I could understand! It was all downhill from there. It was too heavy for me to do it myself, so had to call in two more people to help me! They even had a difficult time holding it while adding shelves on. At the end we realized the cabinet doors were made into two different shelves, so a dismantle was required in order to get to them. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture!

I was very excited to get this bookshelf. The design is cool and modern. I saw another reviewer got multiples to place together which makes this easy to expand if I run out of room.Assembly was pretty easy although the Allen wrench was unusable by the end - so many screws - but this is a common problem and if you aren't using a ratcheting or power screw driver you are just a glutton for punishment. Instructions were easy to follow, hardware was decent quality, all holes were properly drilled. All pieces are nice and solid and don't give off that cheap wood veneer vibe.I can't think of any major drawbacks. It's been up for a week and very sturdy (use the ample hardware to secure it to the wall). I will definitely be looking to add another once my current one fills up.

I’d been looking for a bookshelf for a while, had to have a small section with doors so I could hide messy stuff on the bookshelf. This one fit the bill and fit my space perfectly. Putting it together I didn’t follow the directions exactly and I think it was easier than what the directions recommended; I built it one shelf section at a time and assembled it upside down, that way I could get the right amount of pressure on the screws without stripping anything. I’ll also say the hardware to attach it to the wall was not the right size for me, I have weird shaped baseboards so I ended up going to a hardware store and getting larger L brackets. The screws from the kit still worked perfectly in that respect, and now, this shelf is sturdy and holding every book I own

Sturdy bookshelf, good value for the price. Only minor complaints:-the screws are all internal hex, making it laborious to put together with the provided hex key. phillips head screws would have allowed me to use an electric drill and could have saved me from an extra hour of assembly-the magnetic catch for the cabinet doors was finicky, and I had to install it at a slight angle to work properly, meaning one of the cabinet doors sticks out just a littleOtherwise the materials provided are good quality, and the instructions for assembly are relatively simple. Overall happy with this purchase

I may end up painting these shelves as they look like they will last for years. The finish is a picture of real wood. This is easy to assemble, if you are having a problem look again. The directions have no words so you may have to look twice to find pre-drilled holes.

I liked the way all shelves were given letters for easy assembly. The booklet with diagrams for assembly was very helpful. The look is rustic, as described. Good quality wood for the price. Adds to the look of any room.

Easy to assemble with clearly labelled parts. Came well packed tightly with minimal waste. The finish is nicer than I expected for this price. It does need to be secured to the wall but brackets are all included. Might order another. Love it!

I purchase two of these shelves for my home office (a 4-shelf and a 5-shelf unit) with matching desk and file cabinet. They came in flat pack cases and required quite a bit of assembly. The instructions were easy to follow and generally they went together without too many issues.The one issue I did run into is that the alum key that comes with the units is cheap garbage and stripped after several screws. There are quite a few screws on these units, so this is a pain. I do recommend that you use an electric screwdriver with the correct alum key bit installed as this will save you a lot of time and effort. Don’t trust the key that comes with the units.I was concerned that the boards used in these units is very thin, only half an inch thick dense pressboard, but so far it has held up ok and seems fairly good. If I see and bowing or warping, I will update this review. Generally, the shelves look good, and I’ve had a couple of comments on them.

Great quality sturdy shelf. Was a lot of pieces to put together but instructions were clear and hardware was labeled in sections. The only thing I would say is to use a screwdriver instead of the Allen key.. my fingers were really sore at the end of the build.Will definitely buy more furniture from Rolanstar

The book case is exactly as described. It is beautiful and sturdy. Bought 5 of them to fill a wall and make it a library. First one took just over an hour to build. By the time we got to the last book case and discovered that our drill and electric screwdriver work with the screws we had it down to 30 minutes to build. It is exactly what I wanted. And the finished back meant I could customize the layout on the wall. It was worth the wait to get back in stock
