I don't normally gush over space heaters but this one is exceptional. It pushes hot air almost immediately when turned on. I also love the "just fan" setting. Its tip-over sensor is extremely sensitive. And it is designed to have good stability as it sits on its base. Do note that right when it's turned on, it makes a rattling noise that goes away almost immediately. All in all, truly great for its compact size and reasonable price.

Looks can be deceiving, and sometimes simple is better. That is definitely the case with this compact, and very affordable little space heater from Kismile. For under $20 you will get a heater that can warm up a small room in 10 minutes. It boasts 1500 watts and weighs less than 3 pounds. Controls include 2 knobs, 1 for temperature (thermostat) and another that sets to HIGH-LOW-FAN ONLY-OFF. The casing is plastic and the build is light and portable if not a bit flimsy feeling. When looking for a small heater, my first concerns are safety, performance, and cost. In the past, space heaters have been notorious for causing fires and burns. This little unit has a couple of safety features that make me feel like it won't be a problem. The unit will automatically shut off if it overheats. It will also shut off instantly if tipped or lifted thanks to a clever little switch on the bottom. As soon as the switch is released, it shuts off. The front grill gets fairly hot, probably just shy of causing serious skin damage. If it tips over it could likely melt a carpet a bit, but I don't think it could cause any actual sparks or flames. It can warm a small room (in my case, about 100 sq ft) in about 5-10 minutes; naturally that will vary depending on conditions. It was definitely surprising! I would guess it would handle a larger space given enough time but it's meant for probably up to 200 to 300 sq ft. At less than 20 bucks, price is a huge selling point. Time will tell if this heater will continue to perform well, that would probably be my only concern at this point. I will update if things go wrong, but this is an excellent purchase if you are looking for a small, affordable, safe space heater!

Update 12/2025 if you can pay a little more, go for a Dreo. I tried a Dreo heater for our bathroom and prefer it. it’s much more quiet and more stable a base. ——— original review follows: It works and it's safe, because that auto shut off works. Heat output is good for under a desk at work. Not great for a full room. Looks nice and is easy to carry. The main annoyance is that it is much louder than I thought it would be, but whether that's a deal breaker depends on on individual personality. Generally, I'm ok with the sound.

Great heater! Very satisfied. I bought this heater for my room and it exceeded my expectations. It heats up the space quickly, runs quietly, and is very easy to use. This product was by far the best heater. I have bought in a long time. This heater heats up fast, it works efficiently. It gets hot.You'd have to turn it down because it's so hot, I recommend 10 out of 10. I stay cold all the time. So I always have to have like some kind of heater in the room. It heats the whole room up. You can tell a significant difference. It's when using the heater and not using the heater, and it's small, so it can fit in every space, and it doesn't blow out your fuse box, so recommend it, it's lightweight. It shuts off when you tip it over. And it also blows cool air too so you can have 2 in1 If you would like. Every time you move it, adjust it, it'll automatically shut off. Go purchase, and it looks good too.

Heater worked great for 6 months and then the on/off knob broke. Now the heater is stuck in the on position and I’m unable to turn it off. Clearly a safety issue.
