Q: Does the WFT 2 Housing ship with and cutter?

The WFT-2 does ship with the cutter. The same cutter is used for all calibers. You have to purchase a specific insert for the caliber you desire to trim. Currently these are $30 on Amazon. Since the insert is designed for the case shoulder, some inserts can be used for multiple calibers within the same case family. For example, 308 can be used to trim 243 and 7mm08. If you have questions about which insert to get for a case family, contact the seller. He responded quickly to my emails.

Q: can it trim a .17 hornet?

Yes it will if you buy the .17 Hornet cutter insert . This WFT2 uses individual caliber inserts so for about $25 per caliber insert you can trim almost any mainstream caliber. Not so much with wildcats. They do offer an insert for 2 versions of 17 Hornet.

Hello, The Worlds Finest Trimmer only trims bottleneck cases. It won't work on pistol calibers such as 9mm, 357 and 45 since it sizes off the case shoulder.

Q: Is there a cutter for 338 win mag?

I don't load in that caliber. However I can tell you that cutters can work on similar sized casings. For instance I use the .308 cutter for .243. So if they advertise a cutter for a similar sized or larger case it should work fine. Also you may not see that on Amazon as it is not as popular a caliber as say 5.56mm. So you might want to contact the manufacturer directly.
