The lamp was easy to assemble and came with a bulb for the lamp. A wonderful lamp for my desk. Brightness: Easy on the eyes. Works well: One click, and it is on. Color: the black color matches my desk.

I was impressed by the quality of this lamp for the money.

We use two of these products as reading lights on the night tables by the bed. It is not "designer," but it functions very well. It has a very simple hardware store socket-switch that can be replaced easily if it wears out. It can use standard LED bulbs of varying wattage. You would not want to use incadescent bulbs because the shade would become too hot. We've tried lights with programable built-in LEDs with dimmers, color change and all kinds of features but we find this simple, inexpensive lamp to be the most useable and reliable.

I kinda knew what to expect when paying $25 or less. It's a cheap light, but it's prolly worth the $25. No more than that. Your basic, made in china, light, then Bostitch slaps their name on it, meaning nothing. It will shed light on my subjects though! I had one of these back in the 90's, and loved the design.

I bought this in March of 2024 because I needed a light to set on top of my taco wagon tool box so I could see to work on things. I like to rebuild small engine carbs, chainsaws and trimmers on the table top of my box where I can see them clearly and don’t have to bend over. The light and brightness is pretty good, but when I was assembling it I noticed a considerable amount of play/slop where the adjustable frame slides down into the base, letting sort of flop around side to side. I simply took some tin snips and cut a little piece of thin aluminum flashing and wrapped it around the stem that slides down into the base. I cut a piece about 1/2” x1 1/4” , around.025” thick. Now it’s tight enough that it no longer has slop but still rotates out of the way when not being used. Over all it’s a decent light. In my opinion it’s a little over priced for the quality issue. It should probably be in the 18 -20 dollar range. But so far with the added shim I’m okay with it. If I couldn’t shim it or didn’t want mess with it, then I’d definitely send it back and buy something else, preferably used and American made off of eBay.

it is easy to set up and relatively weighty for the light. just be careful how close you have it to ANY MATERIAL AND THE HEAT OF ANY BULB YOU MAY USE IN IT. IF YOU USE OLDER BULBS AND KEEP IT TOO CLOSE TO FLAMMABLE MATERIAL, IT COULD BE A FIRE HAZARD. USE ONLY LED BULBS... SHOULD POSE NO FIRE HAZARD, BUT YOUR USE MAY COMPROMISE THAT .. BE CAREFUL

It’s just too big. This lamp was two or three times the size I expected to replace my old (43 yrs.) desk lamp! Takes up more space and needs repositioning for different tasks. Works well otherwise, and I’m dealing with it until I find something more appropriate.

The light is very powerful. Lots of light that can be directed over your work area very easily. I am enjoying it. well worth themoney.
