Fox Run Brands Earthenware Teapot, 6 Cup, Brown

The first pot to arrive, arrived in five pieces due to poor packaging. It took Amazon customer service less than two minutes to have a replacement sent on its way to me. The replacement arrived the very next morning, not 24 hours after the first (damaged) one had arrived, this one with substantially better packaging. Had the issues ended there, I would have been very satisfied; the pot is very cute and the color is exactly as described. However, the top of the pot is so poorly made and so poorly fitting to the pot that no application of force, wiggling, or liquid is getting it back out. My pot is now useless, I can't open the top to pour water into it. My next teapot will certainly be something a more familiar brand.

I took a chance because the price was right, but the teapot is horribly packed and arrived in pieces. The manufacturer does NOT wrap the pot and lid separately, just tosses them in the box together with a single piece of bubble wrap folded loosely around the whole thing. Not only was the lid in pieces, but there was a big chunk chipped out of the rim of the pot. Amazon was lovely and refunded my purchase immediately, but in my opinion they should not carry a product that is so badly wrapped for shipping.

It came broken so was returned.It was very thin and would break easily.

I bought this pot for a friend and I almost bought one for myself as well. It is beautiful and well made. It does not include a steeping basket, so I bought one separately. I bought the Finium Large Basket brewing basket, which was slightly large for the pot. I would reccommend the medium brew basket.

It has a nicer finish and look than I expected. Otherwise, it's a simple teapot, exactly as pictured. I'm happy with my purchase.

The lid is very snug. Sometimes I am concerned that I will break it or crack when placing or removing it. So far, so good!

When you pour with this teapot, as it pours it always dribbles down the front of the teapot and makes a mess. I bought a different replacement teapot shortly after buying this one.

I was very pleased when I unwrapped my tea pot. The size, shape and the rich brown colour were exactly what I wanted. However, when I poured my first cup of tea it dribbled terribly leaving a puddle of tea on the counter. I experimented with adding less water, but nothing made a difference. It is unusable and such a disappointment.

Too small - only 4 teacups not mugs

Much smaller than advertised, only slightly larger than 4 cups, approximately 1050ml

Size I expected, pottery a bit thinner than the Price and Kensington it is replacing but works fine.

This is not a six cup teapot. It measured just over four.
