Love it.
A great deal for a folded blade. Great design. Similar to type used by brit commandos in ww2.

Not an EDC tool.
I wanted a damascus steal dagger and this fit the bill. It's just fun to have. I have absolutely not use for it. I'm going to wrap the handle with paracord. It's beautiful, strong and sharp. The leather is thick and well made. If I was a viking, I would want it 3 inches longer with a metal sheath. It's just a nice piece of hardware fun to own.

Very Solid
Was a great buy this is 100% Damascus, from the handle to the tip. Extremally high quality, well balanced and sharp. would buy again from this dealer to see what else i can add to my collection.

Handle is too narrow
Handle is way to narrow.

Quality for the price. The steel is pretty hard and will hold a good edge.
Pleased with the quality for the price. This is a usable tool.

Could be a thing of beauty...unfortunately mine wasn't
Heavy and true Damascus steel forged dagger. Very well balanced with the CG about 1cm behind the hilt (in the handle). Description said made in Pakistan and I believe it was definitely 3rd-World made and not from China. The one I got came saturated in heavy oil and required a thorough wiping down just to handle it. Unfortunately, even with the oil bath, the dagger had damaging corrosion along the blade (near the tip) and rust was already present along the hilt and guard. I tried to polish the rust and corrosion out but the damage was already done to the the blade so I'm returning it. Pictures taken after oil was wiped off... UPDATE: Submitted the return process and decided to have Amazon Replace the Dagger I got. The replacement came unblemished and in perfect condition. The Damascus steel etching is really nice and the knife is beautiful enough for display. Blade is sharp and knife is well balanced. Would buy one again.

Different than other blades
It's difficult to review this blade because I've never dealt with a knife like this. 1st, the sheath is garbage. More accurately, the belt hanging loop is paper thin leather with a retaining loop and snap that is too large for the grip and not secured at all. That's OK because I knew going into this that Damascus steel shouldn't be stored in leather any way. 2nd, the handle is Damascus also and too thin for my grip. The grooves cut in it help but I will be building it up to a comfortable size. 3rd, the knife is sent coated in cosmoline to prevent rust but it isn't difficult to remove unlike some other comments. Remember to use WD-40 regularly to avoid surface rust. 4th, the blade is square and well secured but not terribly sharp. Since it's meant to stab rather than slash, that's probably intentional but I'll be touching it up to at least cut paracord. 5th, it's heavier than it looks which is both a plus and minus, but with the thin grip it's difficult to change grips. Overall, a lovely display piece (minus the sheath) but plan on working on it if you need it for serious use.

Amazing quality under $50!
I was shocked at the high quality of this knife and sheath, yes even the sheath is good quality leather double stitched! The blade is not sharp nor was my original FS but is attractive and appears high quality. This is way better than some Pakistani knock off

Quality item. Sharp as darkness of Hell's itself.

Very nice for the money! Surprisingly nice!

Nicely crafted, solid, but fake... This is anything but "Damascus steel". My budget hunting Buck knife (SS 420HC blade) leaves a deep notch in what is advertized as hand made real damascus. :-)))

Full damascusblade for $67. The blade's bevels are uneven which stand out more on a symmetric blade like a dagger. Center of balance is 1" behind the guard. The blade on this one is inline with the handle so that's nice. Everything is tight, no gaps or rattles Nice pattern on blade, handle/pommel and guard. Sheathe is basic, leather is quite stiff, the strap/button is 1/2 too long. Quite alot of slack. This is a mass/handmade item and it is evident. If you want perfection look elsewhere. If you want a relatively cheap full damascus knife to handle and display or open mail, you might be happy with this one.

Cheap trash knife came bent and chipped with warped and poorly finished blade.....the sheath is basically cardboard FR.....SAVE your money and buy an OG Fairbairn/ Sykes knife .
