5'9" and usually women's 10 or 12 - so the large fit fine. I will say that the elastic in the upper arms to make the puffy sleeves is very, very snug. I wore it for about 5 hours and my arms were uncomfortable for about 3 of those.The quality is very nice, dress is long (so wear tall shoes/boots w/ a heel) and I used my own crinoline to pouf out the skirt, as the provided one didn't really give much shape. Sleeves were all the way to my wrists, so I only had to paint my hands green, not my forearms.The hat however is made for a baby head, so unless you have a very small noggin' upgrade to a nicer, larger size.Lots of compliments and a great option, especially for a last minute choice.

Size up one! I’m 5’5 and 132 lbs. I usually wear size S, and I got a M in this. The dress fit perfect and was so flattering! For my height, it was a touch on the longer side, but I wore some 3 inch heel wedged boots so it didn’t drag the ground. I got lots of compliments on it. It even came with some fake black nails which I didn’t use, but I thought was nice. My only complaint was the hat was too small for my head, and I had to keep pulling it down. It still worked out for me though. Overall, I loved this costume, and I will gladly wear it again!

This dress is beautiful. My skin is ultra sensitive so there is a bit of an itch factor but that’s to be expected, especially at this price point. What is not expected at this price point is the cut. This is super flattering. I got a small and it’s perfect. I will have to hem it as I’m 5’1”. For reference I'm 110 pounds, 34D/DD, 26.5 inch waist. It does cut tight at the waist (I was surprised that it was that fitted as I normally wear an XS) but then gives some room at the hips.You will likely not be able to use the hat. I gave a small head and it’s too small for me, but that’s just kind of a bonus anyway given how affordable the dress is.

I received the costume today and I was totally blown away. The quality and look of the dress is outstanding and the garment bag it came in ensured the care of the dress while in transit. I ordered a small and it fit well. The elastic around the arm is a bit snug. If you’re between sizes, I would recommend to size up. Love the costume! Can’t wait to wear it.

The costume itself was great. Fit as expected and looked fantastic. I have two small issues: the sleeves and the hat. The elastic that were set in the poufs of the sleeves made them way too tight. I remedied this problem by ripping the elastic out. Since they were sewn in after the sleeve was assembled you don't have to worry about damaging the sleeve.In terms of the hat: just get a different hat. I don't know if it's just tiny or if I have a giant head but the hat was way too small for me. It fit my little cousins great though!

I can't say enough good things about this costume. It was perfect. The quality of the dress was great. But two of the buttons did fall off and the hat fits for a kid.

A bit disappointed as it came ripped. (See pics.) Quality control must’ve been off the day it was packaged and sent to me 😒 But the dress is an exact replica of the witch’s dress from the Wizard of Oz! and I love it! Though it came damaged, the material is not a bad one. It’s pretty thick and not paperlike, like many others. The skirt is nice and long and has tulle underneath it, making it fluff a bit 👍🏼 Just beware the arms, (sleeves), are for small arms and although I usually wear a size medium, this fits me like a small. No room to put warm clothes underneath for the colder Halloween climates. I should have sized up, but the dress still fits, came in a nice plastic bag and it was delivered right away; so I’m happy with my purchase. Reason I gave it 4 stars. (5 stars if it didn’t come damaged.) Still recommend!

I received my costume today and overall I really like it but the fit just isn't for me. I'm 5'3" about 132lbs. Its way too long- WAY too long. I would definitely need to have it hemmed. If that was the only issue I would probably get it hemmed and wear it. The other issue is around the waist, it would need to be taken in a lot to be figure flattering- mind you my waist is not super small. I wear a 28 in jeans, I think it would all work out if I was about 4 inches taller. Where the "top" meets the "skirt" there is just a lot of extra room. I noticed other reviewers did not like the hat but I actually didn't mind it. It fit on my head fine and seemed to stay in place, also it stood upright- very cute. There was also a black petticoat included- didn't seem to add a ton of puff though, if I were keeping it I may consider getting another one. This costume could be perfect, if you want to wear something underneath to keep warm there would be room enough to do so.

Nicely made. The costume is quite fitted through the torso. Comes in a useful storage bag with hanger. Length is good too, I am 5’6” and I will be taking it up 4-5 inches. Taking off one star because the synthetic materials smell is very strong.

I have just bought this costume for a Halloween party, where my friends and I have decided to go as characters from the Wizard of Oz. After searching for suitable costumes on Amazon, which weren't quite what I was looking for, I stumbled across this. It had only one review from the UK but the reviews from the US were very positive. I can say now,that the costume is very, very high quality! It is made from polyester, and the finish and detailing is excellent. You get a witch's pointed hat, the costume and black fingernails. I recommend this to anyone who wants a costume that is a cut above the usual. It also arrived nicely packed and not crumpled!

I wore this costume at school and staff and my students loved it! A few teachers and I were being thematic - Wizard of Oz. I was worried about the sizing but besides the length being a tad too long the upper part of costume was a perfect fit. This looked professional and I got a lot of wows about it. I’m happy it came with the crinoline skirt for underneath, hat with crinoline veil and nails! It was a tad expensive but I just really wanted it and I kind of don’t regret it. I can use the whole costume or parts of it in future Halloweens. One thing is that I wanted to temporarily hem the the skirt so I wouldn’t keep stepping on it but not being a seamstress it was too hard to do since the bottom of the skirt was “rounded” not straight edge. I just made sure to be conscious of the skirt and lift where necessary. I’ll probably have it professionally hemmed for future use as I don’t see myself growing any taller. I LOVE this costume! It fit so that I could wear layers under it.I'm 5ft1inch so it was quite long, which was to be expected due to the size standard length, but it was perfect after being taken up.I wore it for a charity collection at Halloween and I got lots of compliments.The costume is so well made that it looks like you've just come off stage!

Absolutely brilliant outfit - can’t wait to wear it again!!!
