The Puma Mobium Elite Speed Women's Running Shoe's ADAPTIVE FIT upper employs a blend of pliable materials that adhere to the contours of the foot - expanding or contracting with it - to deliver a bespoke fit and secure lockdown. A moulded, EcoOrthoLite® sockliner quells the spread of odour carrying bacteria whilst improves the shoe's overall comfort and relationship with the environment. A MOBIUM BAND 3D conjoins the lateral heel and medial forefoot, supplementing the plantar fascia and flexing as pressure is applied at various points of the gait to work in tandem with the foot's tendons and in turn, deliver a smoother and more explosive toe off. A blown rubber EverRide+ compound yields improved cushioning performance and accommodates an altogether smoother gait, albeit in a format that is lighter and less cumbersome than previous compounds. A decoupling of the midsole and outsole allows either component to work interdependently and deliver cushioning, traction and propulsion as and when the foot, rather than the shoe's construction, dictates. A series of expansion pods align with the foot's natural bone structure and flex in much the same way to compliment, and thereby enhance, the foot's natural performance. EverTrack technology applies abrasion resistant rubber compounds to areas of the outsole that are particularly susceptible to wear and in turn improve the shoe's overall longevity.
