I have a preschooler who loves flashcards. We've gone from the 3-4 year old ones and worked up to the kindergarten ones recently. These cards have a been a great addition to what he's learning in preschool as well as what we're teaching him at home. The cards are a good quality and they come in a box to store them in that seems to hold up pretty well. I think almost all of the questions are pretty age appropriate and I think they've helped my son learn things they may no doing in school (or things I may not have realized he needs to know at this age). Anyway, I think these cards are a wonderful learning tool and we'll continue using Brain Quest items. Review: Perfect for Travel - We love these Q&A cards! They have been perfect for travel and when we go out to eat. The questions and answers are age-appropriate and a great way to help our toddler learn. They are also small so they fit great in the diaper bag or a toddler's backpack.

Fun and Educational
We own several of these brain quest card sets in the different age groups. My kids love them and beg to play with them before bed at night. We started the preschool cards around the time my son was 3; some of the question's were challenging for him while others were easy. Now he's almost 5 and excels at almost every question (still having some problems with letter recognition). We tend to do 5 pages most nights or if he wants to make it a game we play until he gets a question wrong. He's getting ready to move up to the next age set and he's very excited. These are a really fun and easy way to add some educational time onto any day.

Excellent at-home educational tool!
My son LOVES these. It's a game to him and he loves going through them and feeling that sense of accomplishment as he gets the answers right. It helps us also review some areas he is not as familiar with such as coin values, telling time, and recognizing some numbers and letters. He is 3.5 years old and has already gone through the deck that precedes this one, so I got him the 4-5 and the 5-6 year decks as well to see where he is on those levels and start exposing him to more things he is not as comfortable with. He still loves them and is doing great. I love that the presentation makes it like a game to him so it's lot laborious. He actually asks me and his dad to play the game with him. =)

Great for teaching toddlers
This is great for toddlers. I use this with my 3 year old son everyday. It really helped him grasp the concept of behind, in front of, taller and shorter and a few other things that he had trouble with. I recommend using this with toddlers, they’ll love it. Now, my son gets this for us to do along with spelling his sight words and reading his sight words books.

Cute but a couple of things...
the product itself is good there are a couple of issues. kids growing up in the current generation may have a hard time understanding some of the questions as in computer related questions about the mouse and similar issues like that I don't think it would be too big of an issue since it gives your child an opportunity to learn something new a lot of the questions aren't really technology type questions which the newer generation is going through. had this been an adult learning these they would have had no issues but there's been a couple that have stumped my five year old. it could do for an update on questions. recently sent this and I have my daughter's school and the teacher made a couple of comments about the same thing and the kids didn't understand certain things due to the generation gap in question.

Portable, kid-approved. Might want to level up.
Got this for my 3.5 year old daughter who is currently in preschool. She didn't want to stop the first night I brought it out--she was having that much fun. She even asks to do the 'game with the cards.' There were some questions she had more trouble with than others (patterns, sequences), but I'd say she aced about 85% of the questions. I immediately ordered the age 5-6 version and plan to get her started on that soon. This comes with two fan decks in the set (different questions). Very easy to put in my purse. We brought it to a relative's home and to restaurants.

Creates a special time
This is great for my 4.5 year old. She is flying through it. It's a great confidence booster! We do 10 slides a night before reading our usual 1-3 books before bedtime. I'd say one puzzle out of every 3-5 pages slightly stumps her but she figures it out quickly and it makes her even more proud! I ordered the Kindergarten set on the third night because it is so fun, for both of us! It creates a special time of bonding each night with my soon-to-be kindergartner! Good stuff.
