Tea People Organic Tulsi (Holy Basil), 50g Loose Leaf Herbal Tea in A Tin Caddy, Mint

I’ve only recently, in the last 18 months been drinking Tulsi tea. So I’ve only tried a few different ones. This one is a slightly more expensive option because of the marketing - but it is a very cute tin, that will last for ever, and has a second internal lid as a USP. Lovely packaging. Cute and bright. The Tulsi leaves are more refined than I am used to - some bags of leaves i have bought have contained a lot more twig. It makes a slightly lighter brew than I am used to - with the subtle taste of eugenol (essential oil that is also in cloves - but its not overpowering like cloves can be) very pleasant indeed. I make a pot to drink after a ten minute brew then steep the remaining tea overnight for a more medicinal brew the following day. Wash pot, repeat. (Tulsi is an adaptogen, a sacred herb in Ayurvedic medicine, with many beneficial health qualities - it’s a nervine; helps your body regulate and adapt to new stressors and demands - helping with stress, longevity and mood). If you like to add other things to this tea, a small handful of goji berries, or fresh lemon grass, or cardamom add nice dimensions. I will revisit this supplier.

Best tea ever no bitter after taste. The whole family drink it no need for milk.

Quality tea as expected. Unusual taste that's not unpleasant. Has a good aroma.

The tea is great but the tin is something else! I love it! The double air lock lid is fantastic. I can't stop showing it off! This company are my new favourite tea (and caddy!) supplier.

The tea is really tasty - I always describe it as diluted Coke sweets. Buy the tin though as I bought the refillable pouch and it was a bit musty/earthy.

This tea is amazing. It smells absolutely gorgeous and taste fantastic. I can’t usually drink mint teas they make me feel nauseous, Holy Basil is in the mint family. Though due to the tea it tastes nothing like mint tea, there’s a hint of it. It’s my number one tea, it’s name suits the tea. The smell alone takes you to another place, but grounds you and relaxes you. This particular one is fresh and it’s for such a great cause. Highly recommend this amazing tea.
