Do you know in what way this is different from neptune's harvest sw136 organic seaweed plant food?

Seaweed is more of a micronutrient supplier with little fertilizer content, while the Neptunes Harvest fish fertilizer is mostly fertilizer, with quite a lot of micronutrients too. But not as much as in seaweed.

Whats the difference between buying this and buying the neptune's harvest organic hydrolized fish & seaweed fertilizer ?

The npk rating is different . Just the fish has a npk of 2-4-1 where as the fish with seaweed has npk of 2-3-1 . I would think the one with seaweed would contain more mircronutrients . But both are great and made with hydrolized fish .

Best way to apply product? Anyway to attach to a hose?

For small areas use a watering can. For larger areas dilute with about 1/4-12 water and spray with a hose end sprayer.

Would this product be too "rich", or even inappropriate for young, recently planted Red Maple trees ?

I think this product is great, but with a young tree, I would use a much weaker solution than they suggest. I am very pleased with the results, but remember, you don't want your young tree to grow too fast. Just use 1/r-1/3 of the solution and see how it grows. I have used this on japanese maples and it really improves the color of the leaves.
