It’s Beautiful! Buuuut....
So, this was my first time purchasing a wig. I really really wanted to change up my look without doing damage to my hair because if the Kardashian/Jenner clan can do it so can I! Right? Truth be told I wanted a wig made of real hair but my bank account said otherwise lol I mean c’mon those things are expensive and I’m a single mom on a budget. So naturally I did some research, watched YouTube videos, and made the decision to try a wig from amazon. There was a particular brand I wanted to try but the lace was a bit dark and wouldn’t have blended with my skin tone... super pale 🙄Instead I found this!Upon reading reviews and the pics that customers have posted I was sold! Are these girls gorgeous or what?!Anyway before I get too off track I’ll go ahead and start with the actual review.I opened the package and inside was a black plastic bag with a clear spot revealing the hair. And inside that bag is another plastic bag containing the wig. I’m all about pretty packaging so I was a little sad it wasn’t more aesthetically pleasing (but honestly I’m just weird and the packaging had no affect on the 4 star rating)Now let’s talk about the wig!So the hair is obviously synthetic and if you read the product details you know that before ordering anyway, but I gotta say it is really soft and the color is beautiful! It really does stay true to the pictures so I was pretty pumped about that! I was half expecting it to be an unflattering pink. I’m a bit of a realist and believe that you get what you pay for in most cases. It’s also pretty comfortable.. my only real issue is that I have a tiny head so it doesn’t fit perfectly but no one will notice that detail other than me.Plus is blends pretty nicely even before plucking... I did however have to pluck a little just to make it look more natural. The pic I posted is before I plucked.Sooo here’s where I have issues. I wanted something I could use for everyday wear, but with this wig being synthetic it tangles... a lot.. so much in fact that if I move my head it’s a huge tangled mess and then I have to brush it out for the thousandth time.So that put a large damper on me wearing it anywhere but home... which kind of defeated the purpose of purchasing it in the first place and is the only reason I couldn’t give this product 5 stars. All hope isn’t lost though! I could always wear it just for pics and if I do a cosplay! Which is perfectly fine for me ☺️This is also my first impression I still have yet to really play around with it.If you are a wig connoisseur then I’m sure there are little tips and tricks you can do to make the hair more manageable and look even more natural.

Obsessed with this wig
I bought this wig for Halloween to dress up as one of my favorite characters from a book and it was exactly what I was looking for! I love the shade of pink that it is, you aren’t able to tell too well from the picture but there are some rose gold highlights in it which make it look more like “real hair” rather than a party city wig! The cap attached to the wig has two side combs that help keep it secured to your head as well, which is super handy. I docked a star because I had trouble getting the hair to curl a bit more and a curling iron wasn’t doing the trick. I ended up having to break out some rollers and use a steamer to get the curls how I wanted them. After applying all of that heat, the wig stayed intact and didn’t show any signs of damage. Overall, I think this is a great wig for the price and it’s super fun! Everyone loved it!

For the price this is great
So everyone knows the wig gamble. Im a cosplayer but for some reason that seems to mean "im looking for cheap obviously fake wigs". Nope, I put hundreds of hours into my cosplays the wig being bad is not what I want. But theres this weird divide between less than $40 wigs and $200 wigs, and its a gamble. You read 100 reviews, narrow it down to 7, and pray.I own a lot of wigs for a lot of cosplays. This is a 'hit' as far as hit and miss goes. I havent applied heat yet BUT:-it's as soft as it needs to be. no its not silk, its still not a several 100 dollar wig but i can run my fingers through it without thinking ew ick fake hair.-... i can run my fingers through it. for a long fake wig thats a high bar. it does require the normal maintenance and its on the line but after straightening and softening spray and a wet brush etc its going to be fine-its my first 'no cut lace front', you may or may not like this. i LOVE it because im horrid at cutting and gluing the sides of mine so its got the fade of a lace front and no trimming from me and still the back of the other kind that I like. If you like the pull down and glue around ears type, not for you.-its thick. I have to put this in a high pony and if you do wigs you just groaned out loud for me. Hiding the tracks is a battle. If the wig is too thin its going to look janky. This is thick enough Im not going to have a problem which is amazing to me.All in all its my second favorite amazon wig (of probably....6?) and one of two I would wear in public not in costume if i wanted and no one would know.

Beautiful but seemed small
Purchased this wig for a Daenerys cosplay. I was going for her season 7 look with the multiple braids pulled back at the nape; however, either my head is too big for the wig or the wig runs small because I had a really hard time getting it to cover my full head and keep all my hair covered. I ultimately had to forego the full braid set pulled back and settled on four top braids. I do have have long, dark natural hair so I did 4 french braids and pinned all my hair back and up as best I could. Maybe that contributed to the tightness of the wig. I ended up having to use two wig caps, and to adhere the wig, I used Got2B glued hair spray and gel. This being my first lace front wig, maybe I should chalk up my difficulty to amateur user error, but I had the hardest time getting the wig to set and keep my ear hair covered. I can tell you I had no forehead wrinkles since it was pulled so tight! I actually started getting a headache by the end of the evening because of it! All in all the wig was beautiful and did the trick for the 3-4 hours I wore it. I thought it looked great with a black and white photo filter. B&W covers a lot of error. :) I didn't use any heating tools so I can't speak to how well it would hold up under heat. Hope this helps. Thanks!

BUY IT!
Bought this after reading thousands of reviews on wigs. Went to a "wiggin out" bachelorette party where we all wore wigs. Honestly, I felt this was more blonde than platinum silver, but it was too late so it worked. I have never in my life worn a wig before and watched tons of YouTube videos. This one was the most realistic out of the bunch of us. I got the 26" and had to cut a few inches. I underestimated the quality of this wig. There is SOOO much hair. Enough hair I had to thin it out. It didn't shed much. I wanted it as realistic as possible, so I plucked the hairline and part. For this, I put the wig on and moved it up and down to somewhat mimic my natural hair line. This seemed to work well for me. I also ultimately decided I needed to glue it down - simply because of the weight of this thing. It stayed all night, through a party bus with a stripper pole and a ridiculous amount of cocktails. I also sprayed it with dry shampoo all over to decrease the shine and give a bit of texture. As far as the tangles, I put this thing through the ringer that night, so it did take me a while to brush it out when my hangover subsided. I have a fairly small head, so the stretchy clip was vital (as well as the glue/gel). The head on this one was fairly large and there was a bit of an open space in the back once I had it in place, but no one could tell so that was fine. This came with a wig cap. It worked fine for me, but the quality of the cap is pretty poor, so if you're a seasoned wig wearer or have something you prefer, use that and don't rely heavily on the one it comes with. I'd never seen or used one, so I made it work. All in all, this thing is AMAZING for the price and I expect to be able to wear this many more times.
