Easy to chew great for energy

Living in the state of Maine, lack of sunshine is prevalent in the winter (which can last 6 months or so). Given the chance to try the vitamin D3 K2 at a deep discount, I was excited to see what, if any, effect this supplement would have. As directed, I take one chewable tablet in the morning with breakfast, before going to work. There is a slight fruity, pleasant taste to the tablet. I will soon add a second tablet (probably at lunchtime) as autumn is here, it is now colder (29°F this morning). I feel that the vitamin D3 K2 may be having an effect on my mood; I seem to be in a good mood on most days and I don't seem to have a bad attitude at work, which is a welcome change. I am looking forward to seeing the effect this product has for me during the winter months of Jan. through March, which are always very difficult for me in terms of mood. This product is made in the USA, which is always a great plus for me!

Living in an environment where the exposure to natural sunshine is not possible during half of the year vitamin D supplements are essential. Calcium uptake is necessary to keep your bones healthy but you don't want to increase your risk if arterial calcification in the process. Vitamin D provides improved bone development by helping you absorb calcium and vitamin K2 directs the calcium to your skeleton, while preventing it from being deposited in your arteries, where you don't want it. There are two types of vitamin K, mk-4 and mk-7. The latter is the type you want, and you want 150mcg daily provided you are not taking an anticoagulant. So I take one chewable tablet in the morning and one in the evening and I'm covered. And they taste good too.

I've been dealing with depression my whole life (I'm 34) but I never wanted to visit a professional because I believe there is not much they can do except prescribe anti-depress meds and make people addicted.A good friend of mine told me to try vitamin D because I was not taking any of sun light during my every day life and told me that a lack of vitamin D could be the source of my depression.After a lot of research on internet I decided to try Vitamin D so I went to Amazon and after checking many products I found your Vitamin D3 and K2 supplement, Sunshine Fuel. I bought it and man I can tell you, I never feel better.Thank you for such a wonderful product.

This is my second time ordering this supplement. My Vitamin D level was fine from a previous blood test while using a different brand supplement; so I can't state in this review how Sunshine Fuel affects my current Vitamin D level until a future blood test, but I like this simple combination of just D3 and K2 without all the extras that are already in my multivitamin. The texture is good without any chalkiness. It has a pleasant flavor without being too sweet (not like candy), and it has no strange aftertaste. It's easy to chew. They are not huge tablets. The 2000 IU of D3 is just right for my needs.

We need vitamin K in order for our bodies to absorb and help send calcium and vitamin D where it's needed our bones and teeth. Ez melt get right into blood, bypassing stomach acids. Best absorbed this way. Feeling so much better. After being vitamin D deficient. It's finally getting back where it needs to be. My second purchase, I bought several bottles originally, our bodies NEED vitamin K to help with the absorption of vitamin D. Great way to get BOTH, also surprisingly tasty :)

The only reason I do not give this product five stars is because I cannot, in good faith, claim that taking this vitamin D supplement does a whole lot for me; however, because I no longer get outdoors and into the sunshine very often these days, I feel better knowing I am taking a dependable supplement of D.

I was told by my physician that this would direct the vitamin D to the correct locations and keep it out of my arteries. Looks like it will do that efficiently but until there is an autopsy I can not be certain.
