As expected

I was happy to find this tool, I bought my original tool at a home improvement store 15 years ago, and haven't been able to find another.This tool works great for scoring loose tube fiber buffers, as well as scoring the jacket on Indoor/Outdoor fiber cables.

I am in the telecom business and use this style of cable ring tool all the time. But the name brand ones are a bit expensive. So i thought i would see if this less expensive model was any good. I WAS WRONG. the groove you lay your cable into to ring it is about half as deep as the name brand model. There is no room for a standard cat 5 cable to fit let alone ring it. do your self a favor. And go with the name brand. You wont be disappointed.
