These were used on a wound in the ER. Made removing the dressing so much easier later. The dressing comes off without re-opening the wound.

Dry. No moisture. Waste of money!!!
I have severe second degree burns on my chest from a pressure cooker exploding. They used the same petroleum gauze strips in the hospital. After I was released they suggested that I buy the same ones to use when changing my dressings. These are the same number, size etc. as the hospital ones but totally different in quality. They are horrible! They are practically dry and barely have any petroleum on them. They are so dry that they stick to the wounds and you have to peel them off in the shower to make it less painful. Buy different brand. Or buy them from a medical store. Wasted a lot of money.

Ok in a pinch or last resort situation
This product is ok in a pinch however it did not meet my expectations for easing pain while in use as the mesh seems rather thick and application over large areas is difficult as there are lots of creases in each strip.
