what type of strings does this product have??/

Mine came with Aquila nylgut strings.

Has anyone successfully installed a strap on this model?

It would be best to use a clip on strap, rather than drilling into it.

A warranty is usually optional. This being a plywood (laminate) ukulele there really isn't much to go wrong I have owned one for many years (it was my first ukulele in 2012) and never had a parts or build issue. Amazon has an optional warranty for purchase.
