Can I use this topcoat with other polishes?

I used this for the first time over OPI nail lacquer and lap swam in a pool a couple of times and several other vigorous activities and my polish has lasted over 2 weeks. I’m blown away! Going to keep trying with other polishes I have.

We're sorry to hear you are having a hard time removing the gel couture platinum grade finish top coat, For best results, soak your cotton pad in polish remover, then allow it to sit on the nail for 30 seconds before removing. This will give the polish remover a chance to soften this long wear nail color so it wipes off effortlessly.

Regular nail polish remover. You do not need the pure acetone like for gel nails (with the light).

How is this brand and how is the quality

This is an excellent product. Essie it a top name brand comparable to OPI. It is used on top of the Essie Gel Couture nail polish. My manicure last longer, but I must say that I use gloves to wash dishes, wipe counters, etc. and minimize water on my hands. I can go 4-5 days with absolutely no chipping, which is good for someone who is constantly cleaning.

Highly recommend! Cheap and effective

Super Shiny & Great Quality! ✨ I decided to give this top coat a try after hearing so many great reviews, and I’m really glad I did! The shine is super glossy and beautiful, and the texture is honestly better than most top coats I’ve tried. It goes on smoothly and leaves a nice, even finish without feeling heavy. For the price, I think it’s a great value. It’s affordable, easy to use, and actually does what it’s supposed to do. Wow, what longevity! My new-go-to top coat

I think this is the best & easy-to-get top coat. It's crazy I didn't buy it sooner, but I underestimated it. My nail polish now lasts 2 weeks. A miniscule amount of shrinkage might happen, but way less than any other top coat I've used. But most importantly, the longevity is insane! Dries fast and I appreciate the lower cost it is on Amazon than in store. My new go-to here-to-stay top coat.

Great top coat, no UV gel lamp needed

The Essie gel couture longwear top coat is one of my favorite top coats. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to use this without a UV gel lamp, but it is actually made to work without one; the "gel couture" in the name is just meant to simulate the look of gel nail polish. Like the rest of the Essie nail products, this has a wide brush that allows you to cover most nails in one stroke, and it does not remove or disturb the underlying nail polish. It dries fairly quickly and leaves a very glossy finish. It helps keep my nail polish chip-free for about an extra day compared to using my Essie quick dry nail polish without it. I would recommend this. The Essie "Here to stay" base coat is great (not to be confused with the Essie "grow stronger" base coat, which is awful). It has a wide brush which makes it easy to apply to each nail in one stroke, dries quickly so I don't have to wait long before applying my nail polish, and keeps my Essie quick dry nail polish on for 2-3 days without chipping. I would recommend this.
