It worked. I put batteries in it and pointed at my tv and it turned on. No need to programm. Read other reviews. It came in a simple pouch, no paperwork or anything else. It looks clean.Update*** the volume buttons suck. You have to push the remote like 10 times before it even registers anything. I would not recommend this anymore.

I have a 6 year old Vizio with a remote that was working when it wanted. I am so glad I found this remote at a very reasonable price. It worked right out of the box: no programming, no problem. I was going to buy another one, but I thought maybe now the old TV is going to die, so I'll wait and see what happens.

I bought the remote because I lost the one that came with the tv. I needed a way to switch between the cable box input and Amazon's Firestick.

Oooo, we needed new remote so bad and it works perfectly right out of the box with our Visio E400i-B2 model TV, and delivered a day earlier!Those reviews about how remote didn’t work with TV are probably because the wrong models were ordered, so check your TV model on the back of the TV to make sure it’s the right remote for you...Couldn’t be happier!
