I have a folded in rocker panel in the center of my car that has broken my heart. I started researching and practicing PDR to fix it. So far i've been doing quite well and it's almost completely repaired with this glue. It's the only glue that has the strength to create a strong pull to get the metal back to it's original shape. It comes at a price as it's cheap but not super cheap. Thankfully each stick is very long! Though I had to purchase a really good glue gun to properly use this stuff. But after doing so, performance has been VERY GOOD. Don't use a cheap crappy glue gun. It'll make doing PDR much easily with a quality Glue gun. I've used about 2 sticks so far and it has almost fixed the bad damage so 10 sticks should definitely be more then able to fix it. Highly recommend this stuff. Make sure you follow the requirements and exceed them for best performance! I use a 300watt glue gun that is industrial grade. Gives me more time to apply as this stuff likes to harden FAST! So far Alcohol 91% has done a great job at mostly cleaning this stuff up. Sometimes it can be a fight and this stuff is strong enough to remove paint so be careful.

You have to make sure that your vehicle and the ambient air temperature is not too high to use this glue. It’s been consistently over 100° here in Oklahoma, so I have been pulling dents at 5 AM, when it’s in the high 70’s. The glue dries within five minutes and is very effective in pulling out dents. It is easiest to get the glue residue off after letting the car warm up in the sun and using 91% isopropyl alcohol. Both the alcohol, and the heat make rubbing the glue off easier. It still takes a lot of effort to get the residue off, but it’s much quicker than doing it when the car is in the high 70’s. Of course, doing it this way means you can only do a little bit each day. But, that’s OK for me. I have lots of hail dents to take out, and slowly but surely, I’ll get them all out.

Great overall Value- I believe these assorted sticks were like 11.00 shipped.. First of all the BLACK GLUE works Great when the air temp was 65degrees or less and there was high ambient humidity the glue pulled decent, BUT as the midday sun warmed up the metal the BLACK "GOO" refused to fully cure.. even after 25- 35 full min they remained soft like BUBBLE GUM-- I repeated this 10- 20 times trying to get BlACK glue to cure, never really curing The YELLOW- CLEAR sticks performed MUCH BETTER on our warm summer day.. The metal temps were between 85-95 degrees and the dent pulls on this glue was much more agressive!! Perfect POPS were after 6- 9 minutes of letting the Yeller glue fully cure and the POPS were noticeably more agressive--- be patient its a LEARNIN CURVE --- PRO TIP-- use a COTTON BALL saturated w/ DENATURED ALCOHOL for dissolving the GLUE TABS--- dont waste your time on cheapo RUBBING ALCOHOL---

I tried the regular hot glue sticks I had to try pulling dents using the GLISTON Paintless Dent Puller – Golden Dent Puller Kit. Even after leaning thoroughly with alcohol the regular hot glue did not "stick" well enough to pull the dent out. Ordered these sticks and used the amber colored ones on a 60 watt glue gun. At 60 watts the glue gun made this amber glue bubble and smoke a little. However, the glue proved to be superior in "stickiness" to the regular hot glue from the big box stores. The pull buttons would not pop off when pulled by the tool. After pulling the dent I had to manually pry the button and hot glue off using a small plastic spatula (included with the kit) and regular 90% rubbing alcohol from the drug store as a release agent. This glue works great for what it's designed for - pulling dents.

These glue sticks are large. They are not made for a common glue stick gun. I don't remember if it said the size?. So I went and bought a commercial gun. Don't make the mistake it fits a common gun. THESE ARE NOT PDR GLUE. DO NOT BUY FOR AUTO.

The yellow glue sticks are very strong and adheres extremely well to metal. The melted glue must dry completely for 5-10 minutes before trying to pop out a dent in auto metal...but it works great. If the glue sticks to the metal...application of some heat by a hair dryer will make it flexible and easily removed. Alcohol will rub out any left over smudges. This is a really good product...but must be used carefully. The black glue sticks are not as strong in sticking to a metal surface...but works well with crafts, etc. I used two yellow sticks to pop out a large dent in the hatch of my SUV. The effort took over 8 different attempts, and about 2 hours, but almost 100% of the dent came out and has returned to the original shape. You have to be patient and work with the dent to get it all out.

This is by far the worst glue I’ve ever used to perform a basic pdr. I put it on my tabs and left it for 15 min to let it cool to get a better bond. After which I started to work on the vehicle as soon as made my first strike with my slide hammer the glue didn’t really do much. I went to my original glue and it did a waaaaaaaaay better job.

Works exactly for my unusual need. I was looking for something I could take a grain imprint of the texture of a leather or vinyl surface. I wanted something quick and cheap to do repairs and these suit perfectly. I spray the surface with a lubricant like an auto interior protector on the surface I want to duplicate, put a small patch of the hot glue stick on, let cool and then use an IPA to remove the glue. I can then use that for cosmetic repairs when fixing vinyl damage.

Black ones are stronger
