This works so well on my cats. One has long hair and it tends to get matted. This comb easily works out the mattes and does not hurt the cat at all. Well worth the money. Wish I had purchased it sooner.

I have a short haired cat I bought the comb for. The fine toothed metal side does a great job of removing loose fur, especially now that it's getting warmer and she's shedding more. The wide curved plastic toothed side doesn't really remove any loose fur from her coat, but she enjoys being groomed with it, it must feel soothing and pleasant on her skin. So I always use both sides when I groom her. I like that the comb is easy to grip, and stores with the teeth of the two combs enclosed together so that they can't be damaged. Seems very sturdy and well made. I like it better than the old shedding comb I used to groom my cat with.

The short comb can take off so much floating hair from him I’m impressed. Even the massage half can trap some hair.And he allows both to be used on him which is unusual.
