Would you say it is safe to put 2 headphones on one hook?

I would it say it would definitely be able to hold the weight. It may be a bit difficult to hang them on there without overlapping.

What is this clamp made of ? Plastic ?

Yes the whole thing is plastic other than the sponge pad in the clamp to keep it gripped to the desk without scratching.

Does anyone know how wide the clamp opens?

Hello Cleo Carreon, Thanks for your question on this headphone hook. The clamp opens from about 0.27"-1.53". Any question or problem during daily usage please don't hesitate to contact us via email 'sales@eurpmask.com' , our sales support will reply to you when hear from you. Thanks, Gnaea

when is it going to discount again? It price just changed.. I am waiting.

Is it worth the wait to constantly move your headphones around to get them out of the way? To each his own, butI doubt you will see these too often in a discounted mode. I think they are at a good price point,
