Great Clamps!
I have a lot of experience fixing things around the house like good tools. I've used screw in clamps before and bought a set from Home Depot a year ago. Fixing up and old home I bought and live in. These Irwin clamps are great and the price is right. I used them to hold up a 2x4 with L brackets for a roof transition to an older carport. I like how these handle. The rubber grips are just flexible enough. The squeeze mechanism to tighten them is designed well and you really can bear down with them if you need to. I also put up some 4x4 posts and it was handy to clamp the level to the post as I made sure it was standing straight up. Just a nice tool when the occasion occurs. Used them to hold a compound miter saw to an old B&D workmate platform. If you buy these you will like them. Nice tool!

These clamps arrived quickly and good shape. For the money they seem to be good value and in terms of size (6 inch clamps, 2 pack) they worked well when used to create a right-angled butt joint. I'm not a carpenter and don't plan to use these on a regular basis, so I can't comment on repeated use. Having purchased online site-unseen, they serve my need and the build quality exceeded what I was expecting from a $20 purchase. Manufacturer did a nice job in terms of executing a sturdy and easy to use clamp (though I'm sure the design is not unique). Very happy customer.

Great tool, great price!
Used to help hold 2x2s while I screwed them together. Works great! And it's a better price than at the hardware store. Very pleased.
