Other LEDs I have looked at required bulky heatsinks and driver boards — not 1:1 replacements for the stock bulbs. Many of them are just too bright. These lights are certainly bright, but not "dazzle low-flying aircraft bright". More like the very brightest of halogen bulbs. Importantly, they are exactly the same form-factor as stock bulbs, so the installation was dead simple. The pattern they throw is similar to the old bulbs, just more intense.It remains to be seen how long they last, but if the lifespan is good, they will have been well worth the money.UPDATE: The other reviews mentioning Radio Frequency interference. This is correct, and whenever the headlights were on, the FM dial was a wall of static. I rarely listen to terrestrial radio, but it is a serious safety issue not to have it, to receive emergency broadcasts during blizzards, hurricanes, etc. I completely fixed it in 5 minutes by adding a clip-on FERRITE CORE to each wire powering the two headlights — six wires total. I used 3mm cores, which cost me $7 for a ten pack on Amazon. So figure that into the price, and fix it right away. An emergency can happen anywhere, and you will want to be able to receive broadcasts when it does.

Seems good so far, could be a little brighter, easy to install, doesn't have the bulky fan so could install the weather proof boot without modifications, doesn't seem to blind the drivers in oncoming traffic, can't say anything about longevity yet just installed it a few weeks ago.......2/16/21 update....causes radio static with headlights on, can't listen to radii

The H4 element was fine except! There is a issue with Radio Frequency Interference! When listening to FM radio while burning the headlights it was not possible to listen to Radio!

Unfortunately this replacement bulb does NOT fit the vehicle like Amazon says it does, at least not without modification. The wiring pattern is correct but I'll have to break off a couple tabs and have already ordered adapter rings from eBay to make this fit into the holes properly and not wiggle around. I'm also not sure they're really any brighter at their rated 12K lumens than other LED bulbs at rated 6K lumens.

I highly recommend these lights for cars and trucks. Extremely bright on my motorcycle. I can see clearly
