A much better silent control ring
Perfect adaptor and silent as appose to the official Canon unit. Easily upgradable as well. The current firmware s 1.4 that works perfectly with a Canon R5 at 1.3

Cost effective and fully fully functional
Bought as an alternative the the Canon adaptor not for cost reasons though that's another point in the favour of this adaptor but simply because unlike the genuine canon one it was available to order. Quick check of the firmware on receipt - all up to date and tried with number of different lenses from Canon and Sigma, all worked as expected.Small amount of vignetting at some extremes of the range on some lenses but easy to compensate for during framing. Sigma macro lens and mage stacking presented no issues at all.

Very happy with this purchase
Bought this adapter in order to use my EF lenses with my new Lumix camera. It was definitely a very good and cost-effective way of extending my arsenal to work on the new camera without having to buy all new lenses straight away. The build quality is really good - the adapter is solid, well made and seems like it's going to last a long time. The tolerances are _almost_ perfect. Both the lens and the adapter move a very, very tiny amount when in place, but this does not affect the usability of the lens.Very occasionally something happens and the lens stops being recognised. I am not sure if it's the combination of the camera & lens with the adapter, or whether this is the contacts on the adapter - but it's very easily sorted by unlocking and locking either the lens or the adapter. It's only happened a few times so far.All in all, this was a good choice and I would very much recommend it, in spite of those very minor points. You could spend much more money on an adapter that performs similar function and doesn't provide any more features or improvements. Both thumbs up.

Seems to function as expected, no issues with EF or EFS.
The image was taken with a bog-standard EFS 17-85mm with the adapter on the EOS R exif included. AP @50mm 5.6 1/640 @1000 cloudy afternoon, basic point and shoot.

Okay-ish but not the 100% reliable..
This adapter is okay-ish; does the job most of the times; but the connection between adapter and my camera doesn't feel secure enough. Even though it's cheaper I wouldn't risk my expensive camera and lenses by using this.. I would rather wait for official Canon ones.

Very loose fit leading to errors!
This adapter appears well made but once fitted, the connections between body, adapter, and lens are very loose. This didn't cause any issue with some of my smaller EF lenses but when fitted with 70-200 f2.8 or 100-400 mm lenses, an error message was frequently returned requiring the camera to be power cycled before it would work again.Canon need to get their act together and meet the demand for these adapters. I'd very happily pat the extra for a canon one if it was currently avilable.

Good adaptor but not perfect
As a straight EF-RF converter it worked great, solid build, only lacking weather sealing. Where this product failed was trying to update the firmware, I tried 3 different computers and about 6 different leads and no combination worked, so I couldn’t update the firmware to work with my R6. doing a lot of searching online it appears to be a known problem. Give it a few months and I’m sure they’ll be shipped with the latest firmware and it won’t be as much of an issue......unless there’s another update. Ended up going with the basic canon adaptor.

Perfect fit
I attached my EF sigma lenses to my Panasonic Lumix S5 using this adapter. I didn’t have to update the firmware as it already contained the info from my old lenses. It feels very tight and weather sealed.

Control Ring ohne Funktion an R10 / RP
