I would recommend at least 24-48 hrs before washing to insure tape will stay 3-6weeks

when you apply tape in extensions you use two pieces with a small amount of your hair in between. It's sticky on both sides so that the tape sticks to the extension then the other sticky side sticks to your hair and the other extension. Once in place (extension/your hair/extension) you press firmly and use a flatiron (med/high heat) pressing on the tape for a few seconds then pressing with you fingers to bond the tape together. If you want extensions you can take in/out everyday try clip in ones there is no tape so no sticky parts.

No hot iron required, that I know of,. I’ve used two different tapes, including the hairdressers tape & have never known them to need an iron. Another point though: As convenient as these pre-cut tapes are, I wouldnt buy them again because, at least in my fizzy hair, compared to the professional tapes that I’m able to buy, after a couple of days, this Walher tape became sticky, so it stuck to some of my non-sandwiched hair.
