Paired the 4GB DDR4-2666 with the existing onboard 4GB RAM DDR4-2400 on my Acer Aspire 5 (2016) and it really does bring out the guns on FPS rates and even normal laptop usage when running on dual channel mode. Could be because 4GB is considered low nowadays, and adding another 4GB to bring it to a total of 8GB is the minimum required for gaming or typical laptop use. But, Crucial makes some great products and their RAM modules excel.

Bought for my Proxmox machine

I bought this item on a plan to add it to the existing 4gb ram on my HP Laptop and that's what I did. surprisingly, the Laptop became even slower than it was before. I had a doubt and removed the old 4gb ram and ran the system with only 8GB and it blew me away. Works very well and faster. I never understood why the other 4gb didn't work together with the new one. If anyone knows, please do comment.

Well I was very skeptical at first but then considering the price I decided to go for it. I checked with at least 3 Corporate vendors and all of them quote a price which was aed 100 more. I installed it the same day and so far it has worked on my Dell 3493 laptop. It feels like a stallion compared to the earlier 4gb RAM environment. Not sure why dell manufactured this with 4gb ram for an i5 laptop!! I will update review after a few months to report on performance. But so far it is legitimate. I would recommend.

Wenn das gegeben ist, erhält man hier einen soliden Arbeitsspeicher ohne Komplikationen. Insgesamt ein problemloses und empfehlenswertes Upgrade.

Comprei um memória de 16GB para expandir a memória total do meu laptop pra 24GB. Fiz uma pesquisa extensa antes para saber quais as melhores marcas de memória RAM, e a Crucial foi uma das principais recomendações. Tem três semanas que meu laptop está rodando com a memória nova, e consigo usar máquina virtual, rodar programas da Adobe e jogar jogos tranquilamente. Super recomendo! A instalação no slot foi bem simples de fazer, porém encontrei um problema com o Windows, que se recusava a incializar após eu inserir a memória nova. Fui descobrir que era uma reclamação de paridade do próprio Windows mesmo, pois os slots de RAM do meu laptop estavam com 16 x 8, e o recomendado é sempre ser duas memórias de capacidades iguals, 8x8, 16x16, etc. Após configurar o Windows para aceitar a configuração 16x8, ele inicializou normalmente, e desde então, não tive mais problemas.

Crucial RAMs, SSDs have never failed me yet. It is probably the 8th time i am using one. Have used them before in my older laptops too. And all of them worked super smooth and fine. The slot is a perfect fit. You just have to know which is the right model to buy. Cannot comment on performance yet because i have not actually tested it to stressing levels. My laptop is a high performing one but my hard disk was my bottleneck. I added M2 SSDs and shifted my OS there, and took the same excuse to upgrade RAM too. Price wise they are almost the same as ADATA but quality wise much better.
