This definitely helped get me through my semester with a n p 1 , the hands on is definitely nice for learning and it’s very realistic

This model comes assembled and is very detailed and accurate, given the price. No, this is not the paragon of perfection in terms of anatomical accuracy, but it is a fantastic learning tool for high school age, or even undergraduate students. My high school student daughter used red clay to build a muscular model over the right-half of this skeleton to show the musculoskeletal system in one model. She got high praise for it from her health teacher. I highly recommend this for students or others curious about anatomy.

Update: the company has great customer service. I did like the material it's made of for display purposes, some type of ceramic.It's a pre-assembled model. I bought it thinking I could put it together with my 4 year old's who is skeleton obsessed and not necessarily let him play with it but display it. Not so, do he tried to play with it. The joints are not intended for play and broke apart when he did.

If you are here for a medically accurate skeleton for study...this mostly fits the bill. <see below.>If you are here because you do home haunts or make Halloween decor, this is also nearly perfect for you.As all other reviews note, this has an inaccurate ribcage. Laughably bad.But you can fix this easily. It's just PVC plastic after all...Two minutes submerged in very hot (~185-190°F) tap water allows you to gently press the ribs into a 100% authentic shape, then set that shape in a bath of very cold water. The laughable shape displayed in the store page photos is just a result of poor Quality Control and bare-bones copy-cat marketing. [Did no one look at this thing before shipping it off to market at Amazon?]Once pressed into shape, this is a very accurate anatomical model--although many details are enlarged or distorted to prevent a fragile model in this scale. The legs, arms, and spine in particular look too thick, and the skull is a parody of human features, designed to look menacing. The hands (and their bones) however, are far too small and out of scale.Fine for Halloween, but might be questionable for medical study. The proportions are all wrong, although the basic structures are all there. As good a value as the 31" skeletons seen here.Literally two minutes and a container of very hot water fix the majority of the accuracy issues. Good value, but only if you fix it. Would buy again if it had a better sculpted skull and bigger hands.

Definitely bigger than I thought it’d be. About 2ft tall! Using it to study for A&P!

Got a jawline like handsome Zac Efron. Not great. Not terrible. Pretty okay for the price but it feels a little flimsy

It’s small but useful. Been using it for AP class it’s been helping with the bones part.

Was easy to assembly and its great study motivation :)
