Artistic 12" x 17" Rhinolin II Ultra-Smooth Writing Pad Desk Mat with Antimicrobial Protection, Black

I bought two of these in 2015, one for my home office and one for my work desk. It's a comfortable, smooth surface that feels good under paper on which you're writing. Its durable. In fact, while gone for a month at the workplace, carpet cleaners put a large heavy object on it that left a deep indent in the mat. I thought it had been ruined, but I didn't replace it immediately. Within a couple of weeks, the indentation worked itself out on its own and the mat became smooth again. I liked these so much that (after trying a different one) I went back and purchased two more for a couple additional desks I have. A little more expensive than the other ones, but worth it.

These replaced thick stitched pleather blotters when we revamped our conference room. The table is wood, and we've not yet had any of them stick to the table, but they do get moved around every so often when we add or remove chairs so I guess that helps. If you're using it on your desk, lift it up every few weeks to make sure it doesn't stick.They're very low profile, firm with just enough give for great writing backing. They look good on the table. Being thin, when we remove them and store in a cabinet, they don't take up much room. Note that coffee rings and water condensation do show on the black material, so wiping them down is a must. I came here to order more since we opened a second meeting room.

These are really nice, I am using them at my business for customers to sign documents and receipts because I have glass showcases a lot of the times the glass does not allow for the pen/ink to write smooth on a lot of different receipt papers. With these pads it is not an issue! Nice and sturdy/harder top for writing and smooth bottom for protecting whatever surface it is on! Wish they were cheaper but I needed them!

I left this on my table for 3 months and I just moved it to find that it removed the varnish from my beautiful wood table. wow. this is a blotter being purchased by many people for use on a wooden table- am I missing something (other than my varnish)?

Purchased a new desk and needed a top covering but didn't want to pay for a glass top covering. Purchased this desk pad and it is working very well. Very sturdy and stays in place when using the keyboard, trackpad or mouse. Spilled a drink on it and it cleaned right up. I liked it some much that I ordered another one

Love the Rhinolin material - very durable, functional and (yes) even attractive.I have many of these - use them as desk pads and furniture protectors (use them under TVs, Cable TV equipment, computers, etc. - protects furniture from scratches and also from the heat of electronic equipment).

It is just the thing for those who want to add a protective writing surface to any desk or counter-top feature. Also, stress-tests with my hardest nibs and my firmest grips prove this mat will heal from even the most aggressive of writing styles.

Exactly what I needed to set up what I call my "Mail Station" in my kitchen. Nothing stays on the black surface. I deal with the mail each day, with my shredding bag beside me, and take it all away to where it belongs. The black color reminds me to keep up!

I didn't like this product because every time I touch it, prints are very visible on the surface, it looks shiny and gross.So you'd think, no big deal just clean it. I did and guess what, I wanted to clean it EVERY TIME MY HAND TOUCHED IT. Do you have any idea how many times your hand touches your desk pad? A LOT! It's so freaking annoying.Definitely not a good product for neat freaks.

Gets a bit marked up over time, but I imagine that's to be expected. Besides the marks, after more than a year of use, it has held up, works as well as the day I received it and does exactly what I need it to do: cushions my papers while writing for a smoother writing experience. It has not curled up at the edges or become misshapen in any way, does not seem to be prone to sliding, though that may differ with the table you are using. Would have appreciated a bigger size but could not justify the price of the size up.

Only complaint is I wish the non-slip backing was a little (or a lot) more non-slip. This does drift around my desk too easily. Otherwise, it works well and is perfectly sized.

This writing pad is a very comfortable writing surface which I use daily when completing large numbers of 4 part forms.

I had an old cardboard desk blotter that I was reluctant to get rid of even though it was quite worn. This new desk pad is a perfect replacement.
