Use as deodorant; Multiple other uses as well
I have been using this for a few weeks & love it. I use it as a deodorant & it works like a charm. I've tried all sorts of deodorants & none have worked as well as this, hands down. I put just the tiniest amount on each armpit & it only takes a minute to dry. I like this brand because it doesn't have any additional fillers that are bad for you like other brands. I've also read that this product can kill MRSA & is useful for boils & fungal infections. I did have an itchy area down south (for weeks) & used it for a few days & the itching went away. I had tried all sorts of other creams & nothing worked until I tried this. I wish it came in a bigger bottle but it recently went on sale (from $6.16 to $2.92) so I stocked up & bought 3 more bottles. I'm guessing if I just use a bottle for strictly deodorant it should last me at least a few months, if not longer. We shall see. Highly recommend, especially if you can buy it on sale.

So far so good. In december
Update August 18, 2016: Still using it, and have no plans to use anything else. It works good for me.Using it as a deoderant. So far so good. In december, went three days on one slathering with it. I like putting on this over a hard stick twist up deoderant, because it dries quick, usually lasts long, and doesnt feel waxy or contribute to a wet or waxed feeling under my arms. This makes me feel dryer than other deoderants shortly after i put it on. This did not seem to prevent me from perspiring, yet even so, it prevented smell. I first tried my own coconut paste followed by baking powder/soda, and that worked great. But this prduct alone is simpler and works just as well, and no oily feeling as with cocunut oil/paste. At the same time i tried or compared a "green" hard stick roll on, and it smelled nice, lavender, but i ended up giving it to my wife, because i just like the feel and results of this product better. Seems to be no burning irritation or itching or too much dryness as with using baking soda. Amazing. Enjoy.

Yes, it's a great deodorant/antiperspirant.
Like many other reviewers here, I purchased this to use as antiperspirant/deodorant.Normally I'm very picky and have always used unscented aluminum-based non-white-residue stick antiperspirant. None of the "natural" things I've tried before were effective at all. But this stuff is effective and easy to use. It does not include bleach (sodium hypochlorite) like a lot of cheaper Milk of Magnesia does (though at the current price, this is quite reasonable for so much product). I have sensitive skin and no problem with this product.I just took an old roller-ball deodorant container and refilled it with the milk of magnesia. It works great.I recommend this product highly for use as a deodorant. And if you happen to become constipated, you'll have a remedy on hand! :)

works, no weird ingredients, chalky taste / gritty
Works pretty well, no weird ingredients, but tastes barfy / gritty texture. If you can tolerate taking magnesium glycinate pills instead I would recommend that. If you have severe constipation and issues with digestion related to liver/gallbladder that leaves your food undigested don't expect this to work in 30 minutes like they claim. I have severe enough issues that I can go days without having a bowel movements, so for me it was the next day before the milk of mag kicked in but that was better than my normal bm schedule.

Makes a great deodorant!
I can't speak to its effectiveness as a laxative, but it makes a great deodorant. I have been trying to find a natural deodorant for quite some time. Some of them have worked very well for my husband, but just all right for me ... and furthermore, I seem to have very sensitive skin, so I ended up with rashes or even skin pealing. Not ideal in one's armpits. I did find that spraying my armpits with magnesium oil, then adding one of the natural deodorants would work pretty well to keep me from having smelly armpits, but a.) the natural deodorant eventually led to the aforementioned problems, and b.) magnesium oil stings if there are any abrasions/rawness, or even if you have freshly shaved. But looking into magnesium for deodorants led me to comments where people mentioned using Milk of Magnesia. It seems that it doesn't work well for everyone, but it does for many.It does work for me. After I shower, before my armpits are completely dry, I rub in a good layer of this Milk of Magnesia Probably not more than a teaspoon between the two sides, but I've never actually measured. While this might not work for someone who works at a job where they're constantly sweating, it seems to do a pretty good job for me, most of the time. And while I am not working in a job of that sort, I do live in Los Angeles and deal with pretty hot weather. It can leave some white residue, but it can generally be rubbed away. But I would let them dry before putting on a top, if that's a concern.Any Milk of Magnesia will do, probably, but I like this one because it is one of the brands that doesn't include chlorine in its ingredients.

No extra ingredients, low price
No additional stuff in this MoM. I keep it in the refrigerator for those times I might need it. Ive used as a deodorant but do not care for the stickiness I feel while sweating, I apply cornstarch powder over it so I don't feel as sticky. If you are trying the natural deodorants remember to wear natural clothing. The synthetics hold bacteria and will stink really (embarrassingly) bad, and some of them you cannot wash the stink out. I read that MoM can also be used on diaper rashes. I don't wear diapers or have diaper rashes so I haven't tried it and cannot attest to its effectiveness in soothing a diaper rash.As a laxative it works as advertised.
