This thing saved us after my pups recent surgery, he hates the standard cone of shame and always seems to find his way out of them, this stayed on incredibly and he was much much happier, not to mention adorable. Ended up resting his head on it like a built in pillow for naps. 1000% recommended.Ngl he looked so comfy that i tried it on too after he didn't need it anymore and i would recommend it over a travel neck pillow any day too xD plus, It's blow up! So you'd save space in your carry on 😆

My dog went for the snip and I bought this ready for afterwards. We have previously used the vet cone of shame, but as my dog would be wearing it for a few days, I wanted something kinder. Cones are effective but we have found the dog has trouble eating comfortably, chewing toys, and often catches it on door frames which makes him upset.The doughnut was easy to inflate and looked very cute! Use the size guide to make sure it fits well, so the dog can’t reach the operation site to lick. The doughnut is brilliant for this sort of operation, but might not work as well for stopping reaching other places on the body.We re-inflated the ring the next morning, but after that it stayed up and was very effective. Our dog didn’t mind it at all, and didn’t once complain! It is obviously comfortable and doesn’t restrict playing/eating/drinking, etc.He looked very sweet on walks and we had lots of funny comments! It is now stored away in case we need a cone again, in its cute sprinkles box!Beware! Our dog snored at night with this on - probably because he used it as a chin pillow! It didn’t seem to bother him though.

Used on our Dalmation after castration. Worked well for about 5 days and he found it comfortable. Unfortunately he discovered he could reach his wound with it on later in his recovery so wore a tradition cone as well!

We got this because our other soft softcone was just too small for our chonky boy. We saw that this is for chows so we are pleased to say it fits well and seems secure. Our dog as a very thick collar so we checked and it fits into the bands okay for extra security. The fabric is soft and we hope he's okay sleeping and drinking etc in it because this will work wonders for his leg chewing obsession for his hotshots. Will update with any news.

Our dog loves the ring and it enables more comfort than the cone of shame but does exactly the same. He is not able to lick his paw meaning quicker healing we hope. He loves sleeping on the ring. Not tried to wash it yet. Easy to use. Protects him very well therefore very effective. For his comfort good value for money.

At first I thought this was great, the cones look horrible and I thought this would be much more comfortable for my dog. Couple of days of my dog wearing it he was quite unsettled, I put this down to the builders next door, few days went on and he was becoming more and more distressed and eventually managed to rip the donut ring off. Funnily enough he was completely settled after that! I then noticed that his neck where the donut had been was red raw. It was hurting him and we had no idea, the collar we used to attach the ring is his usual collar so could not have been that, the only difference was the donut ring. I'm so disappointed and upset my dog went through this, I would not reccomend this or buy again.

The inflatable doughnut collar arrived in a cute matching box and contained a repair patch. I immediately needed to purchase an inflator pump, I could not inflate this using lung power.This was most effective when fully inflated, the dog was happy to wear it 24/7. I found out it had slightly deflated the next morning one time, it wasn't obvious but it wasn't stopping the dog from licking anything. It needed a little more air, and I had to remove it from the dog to do that because she's terrified of things that make noises. Then she could scratch, lick and bite freely until it was back on.As she got used to it she was still able to reach and lick or chew her back end and feet, but not as much as without it on.I think if she had an abdominal injury or surgery it would be fine and she wouldn't be able to lick that.I removed and washed the cover after an ear infection when it got very smelly. The cover washed fine. The doughnut did stop her from scratching her ear.The doughnut deflates again for storage back in its box.

Our dog was over grooming her tail, and as she's a golden retriever the plastic cones are awful. She's very affectionate, and the whole household ends up with bruised legs from the hard edges!This is so much better! The cover is soft but strong, and the design is brilliant. It was super easy to fit, it goes on her everyday collar with no problems. We did have to give it a bit more air every day, as it started to deflate and she could reach around it, but it was easy enough to do. She seemed happy enough to sleep in it, though we should have taken the warnings seriously as it does make her snore. Loudly. A lot.The cover is simple to remove for washing, it just goes in with the regular laundry. The inner is very sturdy, there were no holes so I assume the very slow leak was due to the seams. Very easy to fill, and easy to top up. The dog seemed content enough to wear it, and very happy with all the attention she was getting greeting people at the front door with her special donut! Well worth the cost, we've packed it away until next time!
