this style of tea is excellent for use in a keurig type module for immediate brewing. Moreover, you can adjust the strength of brew by the amount put in the module. This brand provides wonderful flavor and taste -- no bitterness. I have gone through at least 15 bags of this and have found their quality consistently good. This tea's cut is medium fine, not powdery. It makes a delicious cup when using quality water (I use rain water as our tap water is medium hard). The aroma of the five minuted steeped brew is exactly like when Sweet Corn is in bloom. Pretty aroma. Tannin level is not too high so it doesn't make my stomach turn if I drink it on an empty stomach. I always drink tea black and this Indian tea makes a great hot beverage winter and summer.

Wagh Bakri Premium Black Tea is amazing for making real, authentic chai. I love mixing it with Spicewalla Masala Chai Spice one of my two favorite products!

Item arrived quickly,securely packed,undamaged,and better than described.As an avid tea drinker I've consumed a lot of tea.Some teas that I was fortunate enough to receive for free as an Amazon Vine reviewer,and others that I've purchased.Many were much more expensive,and I honestly didn't find to be any better,in taste or quality.Although those other teas were delicious,I would rank this brand in the same category,however at a much more affordable and consumer friendly price.This tea has a beautiful rich orange color when steeped,with a fresh aroma and taste that is a bit stronger than the domestic teas currently on the market.It's overall flavor profile is perfect for novices and avid tea consumers respectively.Personally I will continue purchasing this tea,as it has become my new go to,hot or cold.Usually I have two cups in the morning made with my my own chai tea recipe that I will post in brackets below for those who are interested.So if you're looking for a great cup of tea look no further.Pricewise,flavor,and amount contained,this tea has earned my seldom awarded full endorsement.Hopefully those placing this order will come to appreciate this tea as much as I do.In all honesty I do believe that it will not disappoint.Fingers crossed,that this vendor won't get greedy and raise their price,enabling everyone continued enjoyment of this amazing product.As promised find my personal chai tea recipe is in brackets below. If you like CTC tea, this is a very flavorful tea. I much prefer it to the other common color brands. The best Indian CTC that I have ever tasted.

I'm an enthusiastic tea drinker for decades. I've bought easily 2 dozen types: black, green, pekoe, blends, chais, etc. This time I wanted a powdered-type tea so I could mix my own varieties. To that end I bought this wonderful tea. This tea looks more the size, shape and colour of poppy seeds and the wonderful fragrance...heaven! The flavour...perfect just as it is or mixed in with various things I have on hand. Great flavour! As much as I love ice tea mixes - I do like a well brewed with honey, and lemon, so I bought this fantastic tea and will add powdered lemon juice and a touch of honey. That way I'm not consuming so much sugar. For the pre-made ice tea mixes I've bought and really like, it was a balancing act of getting my caffeine first thing in the morning so I made it with many spoonfuls making it too sugary, or one spoonful in a large mug lessening the sugar as well as the lemony tang but the flavour of the tea is watered down. I learned to make a really strong sugary and highly caffeinated for the first mug of the day and then a watered down version for the rest of the day. Now I can have the balance I really want! This tea is fresh, fragrant ,and flavourful. I highly recommend this brand and this type of tea. It's awesome!

Once you've brewed up some Wagh Bakri you'll never miss the taste of teabags again. Guaranteed. OK, so possibly the only thing I miss about teabags is standing three metres away from the mug, teabag rolled up and held like a dart to see how many goes it took to get the bag into the mug before the kettle boiled. The memory of that pleasure has almost faded away. I was converted 18 months ago in one enlightened afternoon in the garden of my in/out-laws being served the best cuppa of my life, to realise that this experience could be consistenly repeated many times over in the comfort of my own home. Since departing the tea bag trail without a backward glance, other friends and family members have become staunch supporters of the Wagh Bakri blend. Full of flavour, deeply comforting and yet refreshing in one gulp.

It doesn't get bitter from tannins if you let it steep for a long time. A very pleasant tea, indeed. I've been drinking it for a couple of years now, having found it at Walmart when one year they brought in special goodies for the Hindu Diwali festival. I'm glad that Amazon now provides a reliable online source. This isn't the most informative review imaginable but it's just what you expect in a leaf tea.
